Glad to be back for season 8! Started off well (for me) - round one posted a -6 - figured I wouldn't push it - but thinking if I can stay around Even round 2 I'll start the season off with making a cut. SkyBlueBen - I was just like you when I started - putting killed me - keep at it, you will get better with it!! |

One 4 putt I think from a short distance but mainly my fault as I got narked!  My major issues really came from loose shots which is one thing I can correct. Need to learn how to read the overhead view better and relate it to what's in front of me. Having a lot of fun learning. I dropped out with Master last season because I found the level too frustrating. With Pro I'm just simply enjoying the experience. I'm sure I'll improve (can't get much worse!!). |

-13 at the turn. something like 16 ft proximity but obviously, for a first go round without grids, couldn't make many putts. 65% from medium is pretty atrocious! I'll get there though. Also missed a lot of tempos off the tee, guess exhaustion from all the homework and actual work getting to me haha

-12, -6 for -18 at the turn. Some sloppy bogies in R2 and parred 3 par 5’s so far.
Nice track, think it needs the firmness and speeds at this level.
Greg flying again with -17 in R1 😳

I think with the swing change you might have to consider to switching to master setting i feel.just played a round on how I used to enjoy the game on legend and I got back some love for this game.

After a few rounds on master setting with me being a lower 10% player I would even consider legend setting depending on the type of course selected but overall got to be at least master setting from now on at least the game is playable now on master on xbox.

If TGCTours could use the extra unused Society it has to split TST into two tiers, it would be great. But it seems limited with the general top end coding staff to give this option.  Encouraging is that donations so far are outpacing costs, but it remains to be seen is this will continue and how funds would be used if continued outpacing continues. |

-9 and -7 for me resulting in -16 at the turn... coincidentally the same as my score on Plat through 2!

Rapt with 2 x -12's to start. Things got testy in Rd3 but scraped a -9. Then the tight and treacherous pins got me in Rd4, incl a 4 putt on one of the back 9 par 5's....-4 to finish and -37 total.
Expecting the courses and conditions to get nastier in weeks to come....bring it on.

So after 4 games, countless rds, many Seasons, this lemon still cannot putt, what a plonker. My season began with a missed 6ft putt on H1 and then a missed 5ft putt on H2 what a way to build confidence, blooming plank Goals for Season are:- 1:-Learn to Putt 2:-Beat TROWELHEAD, if not every, but most weeks 3:-Play a round BOGEY free 4:-Play an Event BOGEY free 5:-Learn to Putt Rd1:- 13 Pars, 3 Birds, 1 Eagle, 1 Bogey = 68 (-4) Rd2:- 10 Pars, 7 Birds, 1 Bogey = 66 (-6) Rd3:- 10 Pars, 6 Birds, 2 Bogeys = 68 (-4) Rd4:- 11 Pars, 5 Birds, 2 Bogeys = 69 (-3) Event:- 44 Pars, 21 Birds, 1 Eagle, 6 Bogeys = 271 (-17)  Good Luck all, Play Well PS, feel free to DM me putting advice I've upgrade alot on putting lately with a "simple" move. In my regular rounds, I now moslty putt from the lowest cam on the ground. Notice that once you hit the ball, the green grid disappears. Well, within 2 weeks I started to get a good feeling from this cam in TST. I'll check the green around, but I niw see breaks with the default cam only. I didn't hit a single putt in wrong direction in 72 holes! It takes an ajustment in nornal rounds to putt from this cam. It's brutal at first with anything over 12-15 feets. I also did putt great because of you again. Thanks for playing ealry, I crave ghosts in sunday morning sometimes! 😜 |
