Went 73, 75 in my first ever event. so OK. Getting used to playing without power bars is interesting. Was heading for a sub par round in the second round until I had an 8 on 17 to blow up my tourney. Hopefully will get better as the season moves on and make a few cuts.

Hopefully will get better as the season moves on and make a few cuts. That's how I started....missed the cut on my first 2 events by a shot or two. I played a ton of practice rounds as it was a jump to the TGC settings from how I was playing. My advice, play practice rounds at the courses that are upcoming on the schedule. Not only practice swing/tempo/etc...but also get to learn the hole locations, positioning in the fairway/greens, where you can/can't miss, etc. You'll get it! Good luck!

Stormed into the third round right on the cut line of +4! Happy days, shame my last two rounds were so average...

How do the promotion points work? All Main Tours (Platinum, Elite, Kinetic, Challenge Circuit) Processed First Make cut = clear 1 demotion mark (if you have any) Miss cut = clear 1 promotion mark (if you have any) Processed Second Above double promotion line = +2 movement marks Above single promotion line = +1 movement mark Below single demotion line = -1 movement mark Below double demotion line = -2 movement marks Tournament Winners on the Challenge Circuit (CC-A through CC-L) are auto-promoted to the next tour. A withdraw (not completing an event) is -2 movement marks at all levels

Or if you tally 4 green marks you promote.

Finally, my first under par round! Same as you Ruskie 3 under. This course suits me a little more, being a bit more forgiving off the fairway with a lot more light rough. Also got my first world ranking 3150. I'm sure there are only 4000 players in the world so the long climb begins... And with $1,950 in the bank I'm off to buy a Ferrari!
