After 4 mediocre weeks either just making or just missing the cut this week has been much better so far - rounds of 65 and 67 for a -12 halfway total
Winds were tricky but the fairways are enormous which is ideal for my erratic driving!

You aren't kidding. A couple of those pin placements not far from the right edge of the green, with a heavy right to left wind, makes it INCREDIBLY difficult to get close to the hole on approach shots.

Might sneak the weekend rounds at -6. Frustrating couple of rounds. A silly double-bogey really hurt me late on in R2.

Don’t forget to play all your rounds this week 😉 The worst thing is, it was so very nearly an Alba! Will be played tonight, I usually like to wait until Friday/Saturday to see what I need to get where and that's when the forgetting comes in!

Not sure about you guys but I found a lot of my uphill putts fell up to 6inches short. Anyone else have that issue on the greens or was it just my bad putting skills! Most demoralising one was on the 18th after hitting 2 perfect drives to make the green and leaving a straight 5yard eagle putt short.... doh 😖

T24 after 3 rounds, slowly moving up the leaderboard.

T15 early with only a few rounds in for the final day. 64 in the final round was my best round for the tourney and -23 overall. Should be good enough for a single promo point, fingers crossed.

Finished at -24 and that should bring me my best result so far in K and one promotion mark
Three-putted five times which isn’t great but also had a lot of putts drop

I'm in CC-I but that forum is mute, hope you don't mind me writing here.
Just played 1sr round of Walking Coque... not a bad course. Fairway shots are very easy, but you need a lot of distance to improve your approach shots. Each hole has a few different challenges. Take the 18th for example, I give anyone a high five if they landed the drive on the green. I tried to draw it in, but it hit the sloping green edge and threw it out the back... I figure much better to go long on that hole than short. I managed a birdie but I expect with a helpful headwind there could be some eagles in the later rounds.

Bit strange how they do the money list - I’ve climbed to the top this week mainly due to others getting promoted and still having my earnings from CC-L carried over - but I’ll take it lol

I think you’ll both find that if you go into the money list for your current tour it will include money you have earned cumulatively on all tours this season So, for example, on my profile page it says I’ve earned $35,980 (in K) but K money list shows $209,133 (which is what I’ve earned on all tours) We’re all being treated the same - I was just puzzled why they do it like that

Pretty happy with my rd 1 score, considering how poorly I swung the club. I only hit 6 greens!! Birdied all six of those and added another birdie from off the green. 5 under after rd 1 and hoping to make my first CC-K cut. Famous last words... Surely I can hit more greens in rd 2 and score better than that. Right?
Onward! Good luck to ya'll this week.
