Thought I'd pander to my OCD and set up threads for the CC divisions for Season 8.
Hopefully they'll be plenty to chat about, build rivalries, brag and moan and groan. May the cut be in your favour.
Good luck.

My first round of the new season was a definite first for me, probably across all societies I play in. No 2s, and no 5s. An entire card filled with 3s and 4s. Hanging on to a top ten after round one. Scores gonna be looooooowww this season.

First round of the new season was a bogey free -10 round, I'm pleased with that start. It may take time for the flights to settle after all the qualifiers are done and everyone finds their level.

67-65 (-12) will have me sniffing around the cut line. Hopefully its enough.
2 bogeys hurts. My driving was the best it ever has been. Was consistently hitting 101% perfects.

Was consistently hitting 101% perfects. 67-65-64 (-20) through three. Should make the cut and remove my demo mark incurred from last week. Played really well in the 3rd round, putter just let me down. Bogey free though so can't complain.

65-65-65-60 The usual problems with tempo even on pro for me. Last round it was obviously better.

However can't really measure this as its on Pro swing settings obviously Sorry to be that guy, but I shot -30 and finished in 60th place out of 126 lol - I know its the same for everyone but this is one of the reasons I would have preferred keeping the master settings. Seeing people shoot -60 or -70 is madness. Think I might opt into the TrueSim Tour to eliminate this, however thats one league and you are pitted against the best players in the world. Hmmm, bit to ponder if this is the new norm on the challenge circuit.

Promo event may help but there's obviously guys in the higher tours that should be lower and vice versa. I'm in G and in 2 minds whether to enter the Promo because if I did go up I'd probably end up being uncompetitive. I shot a -37 there and I'm desperately trying to hang on to a top 25 finish!! Not having a Q-School for everyone with the change to the new swing has rather skewed things. But I understand why they chose to go that way because it would just have caused more work for an already overburdened Admin. Give it a while and it'll settle. Not sure finishing in the lower reaches of TST, perhaps also missing the cut, would solve your issue!!

I think what mainly bugs me is that you can miss the cut by shooting -20 or better lol Whereas that type of score after two rounds should have you somewhere near the top. I can already see the leader in this tour this week shot an opening round -15. By changing from pro to master swing difficulty that would reduce. Anyway, I know I shouldn't complain because thats what it is for the season and it looks like participation numbers are up which is the main thing.

When I read the greens correctly, I don't know if I've actually read it right, or if its just luck haha - I allowed for break plenty of times when it was a dead straight putt also

Hi, anyone got an idea of what the cut might be this week? I'm hoping I scrape through as my third and fourth rounds were much better.

Hi, anyone got an idea of what the cut might be this week? I'm hoping I scrape through as my third and fourth rounds were much better. I'd throw out a guess of maybe 14 or 15 under... based on the estimation that the average score for the second round will be 3 or 4 worse than the first...
