62-58 for -24 at the cut. Could have been slightly better round 1 since it had a bogey on it. No complaints on the second, best round on TGCT in god knows how long. Really good considering I almost didn't get to play this week and went into these rounds with just 4 rounds of warmup since the rounds from last week, all done today.
No further comments, will keep my fingers from the keyboard and my mouth shut to prevent any further issues on my end. Learned the lesson from last week... at least until the next time I make that mistake.

61-59 weekend for a final total of -48.
Overall, very happy with that! Stings a little bit that promo marks probably start at -50 and I had 2 makeable chips in the last 2 holes to swing my score into that and missed both by a hair, but that happens. Can't really get mad at that when I scored 13 birdies in the last round and still fell a tiny bit short. Felt a rush of excitement chasing down that score and landing some excellent shots in the last round that I don't think I've felt in a while in the main tours.
Cheers and good luck next week!

Finished -41 in my first week here in B after getting promoted from C. Left a lot out there in rounds 2&4 with a -9 in each round. Nice course!

Welcome to B Patrick! Same can be applied to me, left too much out there mainly in rounds 1 and 4 thanks to not being that used to medium fast green speeds. Left me escaping at -21 at the cut and barely making it in to keep my promotion marks earned last week, and finished -44 for a solid finish. -9, -12, -13, -10.

Wow, 2 months since the last post! In 6 years playing these tours this is my first as a CCB card holder. I played 3 tournaments here back in 2016 (in another lifetime!), but that was in the days of exemptions. The first 2 I got bumped straight back down to C and the third one I got the first of my 3 wins so got promoted straight to A! And that tournament happens to have been the Storming Normans which we play next week, so kind of cool to get to play a tournament I've won before at this level. Not that I'm expecting to repeat! Since the tempo swing came in in 2019 and tilted the playing field a bit for us Xboxers I've spent time in A, C and D, but never here. I was fairly comfortable in A but been on a bit of a poor run recently so here I am. And not unhappy about it Kicked off this week with a 62 and 65 to make the cut with room to spare. No dropped shots at all which isn't bad considering I'm on 44% GIR! Holed a few chips and putts from the fringes and when I've had the odd tricky par putt I've made them. Quite happy with that, hope I can kick on from there. Very nice course. Shame about the duplicate pins in the first two rounds but the change of conditions made the challenge different enough. Good luck all!

Lol, said all that then hoiked a 6 foot par putt past the edge on the first hole in round 3! 🙈
Didn't quite have the tempo in the third round and just missed with all my chips. But did hole a couple of really good putts including a 65 footer up the hill and a double breaking 25 foot downhiller to make up for that poor miss on the first. Third round 64, -25 will probably have me 2 or 3 shots short of the top 20. Enjoying this one, and still got something to play for.

Greetings and salutations Killer Bees! It is I, the now former Mayor of CC-C gracing you with my talents or lack their of. I see a few familiar names, and brought with me an old Dirtbag friend of mine Johnny evilgrin72. I may run for office here, depends on how much suckage my gawlf will provide. If I do ascend to the Mayor position I promise to bring my "friendly" taxation policy that made me the most popular Mayor in CC-C history. You are ALL most welcome in advance. Onward!

Thought I'd just drop in and see how you're getting on in the rarified atmosphere of CC-B. Clearly introductions have been made and you're on to important Mayoral matters like collecting funds. All the best Mr. Vanderlay!

Don’t believe the propaganda. Triple C was happy to see the tax tyrant leave. Jelly and ice cream in CC-C from here on in.

This is an anarchy, we don't conform to the rules in CCB. All prize money and bungs are strictly cash in hand so you can stick your taxes up your arse! Welcome to B Art

Thanks for the warm welcome Jamie! Don't worry, you will hardly notice those taxes after a while Return to B starts with -10 and -6, a Humph in each but otherwise played ok. Will see if it is cut worthy. Onward!

Thanks for the warm welcome Jamie! Don't worry, you will hardly notice those taxes after a while Return to B starts with -10 and -6, a Humph in each but otherwise played ok. Will see if it is cut worthy. Onward! I've done it the opposite way round, -6 and -10 for -16 at half way. I think that's in! First round I was bad, but the worst part was a presentable birdie putt on 7 which I managed to turn in to a 4-putt double. I didn't think I was coming back from that to be honest. Put the game down and go again. Second round, tee to green was about as well as I've ever played but chance after chance went begging. I was only -3 thru 10 but an eagle on 11 gave me hope. Still I was missing chances though and when I missed a 10 footer on 16 I thought I was done. But then the golf gods started smiling. Holed a 20 footer for birdie on 17, then hit a perfect driver off the deck on 18 to reach the heavy rough by the green side bunker, and holed the chip for eagle. I'd been knocking on the door for the entire round and finally it opened. Sometimes, just sometimes, this game is a lot of fun.
