Trying out a thing. Any insights would be appreciated, going for a very old school, very tough sort of layout. I know some sculpting and other details are being worked on, just looking on playability.

Just played this on defaults using Pin #1.
Overall, I thought this was a well designed course that required some shot shaping to play well. The tee shots appeared difficult when lining up, but I hit 100% of them. You might be able to get away with a little more sculpting on portions of the landing area that would be slightly punitive. After that, I hit all but one GIR...which is surprising with all of the severe undulations. Part of that might also be that these greens are huge, but are sectioned off by slopes on the green.
Here are a few of my specific thoughts: - Wasn't a huge fan of #2. The trees blocking a good portion of the drive made it a little too gimmicky for me. Not sure what advantage you get for pulling driving and hitting it past the trees and getting that approach. - #3 was a fun hole from the tee. A good draw really sets up the hole nicely. #8 was the same but with a fade required. The shot shaping made it enjoyable. - Pin #1 on the 12th is in a yellow slope box. Same with #13. Missed a short putt and ended up 17 feet away. - There are a few people in the crowd by the #12 green that are on the inside of the brick wall...not sure if the intent was to keep them on the back side. - On #15, I went DeChambeau and played up the adjacent fairway to the left with a driver. Left me with 160 yards in. Not sure how it plays using the 3 wood down the right fairway, but it might be worth adding a few trees to discourage this.
Overall, I liked the look and feel of the course. The fairways required good shots but weren't too difficult. I liked the crazy greens as it really separated a good from a bad shot. Outside of checking for pin positions in a few yellow/orange regions, the #1 pin position was challenging but fair.
