😆 😆 😆 Not that i couldnt play dude. Far from it. When i did play i knew i was giving 5/6 shot away before i started and thats fine by me. But gameplay was just broke and a serious cod addiction also sidetracked me! I still play occasional masters societies and can compete but just lost all love for a game i used to hammer daily

I was shite compared to Scott though 😂 Didn’t ever really put the hours in on 2k21 and just thought I have other games sitting here that deserve to be played. Was just going through the motions so played TST exclusively for a bit then stopped with that even.

I've got over 600 hours in the game so I'm not against putting in a bit of hard work to get to the top! Seriously, interesting convo learning how the other half live. Back to the depths of CC for me. Hope when the season gets underway we can all find some enjoyment from the game while we await to see what a dog's breakfast HB/2K can make of PGA 2K22 or even see what EA bring to the table.

No i play ps5 dude! I used to play ps4 and played for perfects on ps4 from day 1. Dont get me wrong if the shot warranted the red fast id use it but irons were always attempted perfect. Early pga2k vids on ps4 still on my youtube. Also vid on how broke the game was! Been on ps5 since release date and just lost interest. Played here and there still finished top 20 in money list i think but lost all interest and i was no way firing up the ps4 just to compete on tour. I had 9 holes a couple of months back and its was glitchy and horrible to play compared to the 5 and i still hit perfect nearly every shot cos calibration was good. Ps5 requires no calibration. You get out what you put in. Thats how it should be. Plus the controller is 10 times as sensisitive compared to the 4. Ive shanked putts from 4ft if i lose concentration 😆 masters and pro! Isn't playing with a DS4 controller on PS5 the same as a PS4 but with better consistent framerates. I have noticed playing with a DS4 over a Series X controller on PC has a much faster swing tempo with the same calibration. The DS4 is a much more consistent tempo controller but harder to hit straight swingplane than Series X controller. I like the DS4 because tempo feels like my tempo and push and pull comes into play. I can hit most shots with Series X controller pretty straight. I have capped my framerate and it stays full on 97 FPS with VRR so no Vsync shenanigans.

Even on ps5 it only runs at 60hz As far as im aware there is a massive dropoff on pc using a ds4 controller. Xbox is the better controller on pc as less input lag. Its worth googling. My 12 yr old has a decent gaming pc (lucky sod)and he uses xb1 controller wired to reduce input lag when hes gaming. Im not really a techy i just play 😆. There are various apps available on pc to reduce input lag tho i think. That might help you out! I tried a couple of my ps4 pads on my 5 and it felt awful. The ds5 is a ferrari for feel the ds4 is a metro without power steering

Higher polling rate less input lag, plugging in a DS4 actually increasing the input lag considerably as it uses a low power mode and drops down to 250hz

You see i told you im no techy 😆

The higher the sensitivity of the controller the more accurate the tempo to your actual swing. The fact that the Xbox controller is less sensitive seems to have this rounding off that we hear about.

You see i told you im no techy 😆 Though I am a bit of a PC techy not till this game did I even think about polling points. I obviously know about dpi mouse (dots per inch). Polling rate is how often the controller communicates with the PC/Console per second. The more times the more accuracy, less input lag/latency. The Xbox controller is 8 milliseconds to a plugged in DS4 which which is 4 milliseconds. A Bluetooth DS4/5 controller has even less latency (I think it is 800hz). A 1000hz polling rate mouse is 1 millisecond.

Can you use ds5 on pc yet? Yes but without all the haptic goodness because PS5 games are designed with the controller in mind.

Seems like the best thing would be if they (HB/2K) got rid of all the different difficulties and just revamped the 3 click swing. That way no one can get an advantage through better controllers or cheap calibration techniques. Either that or they should make a difficulty between pro and master and remove the calibration, we should all be chasing the same swing.

I dont know how to get that bigger forgiveness zone through calibration, it should be removed or explained to all how to get the biggest zone.
