Q , This design is stunning . Capturing wide open land in this way , with intricate routing that always kept interest is quite amazing . The vineries were very well done , but my highlight was the very very subtle grass planting and the placement of the peripheral trees . Just stunning . Mid CC player and did not get a birdie until 17 on PIn 4 default settings. The 9th Pin 4 was bordering dicey on 156 publish speeds but doable . There really is nothing to fault from me Quinlan you are in the Top echelon of designers in this game currently and i congratulate you on your CC publish . Look forward to rangering fully soon for CC !!!! Cy

Very solid course Q. Appreciated the wide fairways for those mishits, led to recoverable 2d shots. Greens were fair but challenging. Can see some areas where pushing them past default would be a bad idea. Liked the routing and views across the plot. Wineries were well done as well. Well done

Just got round to giving it a spin... great course mate, hole designs are your best yet imo, and you really made the minimal planting work very well. Great job Q!

Hey Q, played your Zodiac this morning and really loved the look and feel. Looks like the course is built near a family winery and the countryside is similar to parts of the Barossa Valley in South Eastern Australia. They have a Zodiac Shiraz there, Shiraz being my favourite wine variety. i.imgur.com/sEMEKEy.jpgBack to the course...Love how you have a good naturally balance to the rolling hills, the copses and streaks of trees, the dry creek bed etc. And the restrained use and position of grasses was nice. Well done and good luck in the comp.

It's funny how many wine growing regions look similar that way, Tuscany, Barossa, Napa and Languedoc all look very similar. This was a hard area to represent ingame. Im glad you liked the patchy grass as without a better grass texture on the heavy rough itself it was the best I could do to mimic that clumpy grassy look. I'll have to see if I can get my hands on any Shiraz from that area, be interested to try it. Im more of a Pinot Noir guy myself but I love to try new things!

Really appreciate the minimal planting here as that's something I just can't do. I thought the yellow plants were a nice touch. Really like the environment and colors of this course even down to the color of the pins. Nice job and good luck in the contest!

What a wonderfully pure course. And when I say pure, the ball went exactly where I hit it. What was the object meter on this, because I did not have one random shot. No red fast's out of the blue, when I hit a fast I knew it and the same for slow. This is what makes a course immersive, I felt every shot. The slowest lip out you will ever see on 3. My putting was on fire with a 35 footer on 4, 61 feet on 13, 34 feet on 14. In high winds I played the ground game on 17 and got lucky running one up with a 4H but couldn't make the eagle putt. The rows of vines were hypnotic and beautifully made into features across the rolling hills. The owners residence is majestic and the cellar door and bottling plant are great in their detail. The wide open spaces with strategic zones to hit to was well executed and the greens were entertaining with their undulations. A master class in restraint and minimalism to create a course greater than the sum of its parts. If I was voting, it would have mine. I'm more of a Torbreck's kind a guy torbreck.com/

This one may be even better than Chuysky, and I really enjoyes that one.
It plays really fair and open which is good for me because I'm not a good player. With a lot of subtle strategy and ways to play, it is good for all skill levels.

This is somehow different than Chuysky, but I can't quite put my finger on it...

Q , I had the pleasure of playing your Zodiac course once again in the Challenge Tour. I genuinely love this course for many reasons but most of all it presents and rewards great shot making. The biggest challenge for me lies in the approach and position of ball on green in relation to pin and slope. Also IMO it has the best collection of par 3s of any course I've played. It is firmly entrenched in my list of all time favourites. Thank you for this design. Cheers.

This week I shot a 63 in CC-L on Zodiac and was my best round to date. Thank you for making such a wonderful course and well done on 3rd place.
