You don't seem to be the only one struggling with #10 in round 2.
That hole went from 2 bogies and 0 doubles or worse in round 1... to 6 bogies and 15 doubles or worse in round 2... tough pin to get past and manage the approach and a different set of tees for round 2 made a large difference.
yep I really tried to land my approach at the flag and let it go past but it came up just short...and then I was toast.

Dear interested reader, please have a look here for a quick summary of my current situation. In line with recent developments, I come up with more tired golf to conclude my season, as I should be missing the cut. I had some fun on that par 5, too. In round 2, I only saved par thanks to an outrageous hole out from the steep deep rough. Overall, my tempo was a little better than last week, but nowhere near competitive.
alejandroacantilado: the PGA is doing a great job of setup, and I think the USGA could really learn from them. The bunkers, the decision to not cut the greens when the wind is up. They have to remember that when they go back to Shinnecock in a few years...
