Welcome to the final week of the regular season, unless the admins have changed the playoff system again with out telling me.This week on the Kinetic, we are heading to Angola, ok let me clarify that, this week, you are going to Angola. I am not stepping on any damn landmine so I can play golf. Why the hell the designer decided to build a golf course there, sure the civil war ended nearly 20 years ago but its still one the the heaviest mined places on earth. So, I was thinking about this question trying to come up with answers, first of course is money, I am sure big money payments would entice anyone, hell, the payment tgctours are getting to hold a event there meant that I had no hesitation in sending you guys there but no, bribery is part of pretty much every country, I am sure he could have taken money to build a course somewhere a bit safer. It was then it dawned on my, the last time with had a course by ddixjr509 on the Kinetic, someone, and I can't remember who, outed his as a furry, so I bet, he said to himself, that he did not want to be just known as cute and cuddly but also known as a hard man, that takes risks in dangerous countries , hence a golf club in Angola. I am sure David though has taken many precautions to ensure your safety will playing at his course. I have heard to he entered the course in a design competition which meant a bunch or reviewers and designers had to travel to play the course, Now David has no interest in winning the contest(Although I am sure it would have been a bonus) but used it as an excuse the have the course tested for stray landmines and since he was not disqualified for causing the death of any judges, we can say it passed. That does not mean it is fully clear of course but if we lose a member or two, I am sure there will be another promotion event next season where we can find people to fill those spots. Also, don't be alarmed by the sight of armed children around the course, they are, hmmm, lets call them course security. I am sure everything will be fine. Good luck this week, both with the golf and where you stand, for those of you who survive, the play off's await

I'd love to see a ball land somewhere in the rough and set off a huge explosion, but I'm guessing the developers are too busy making NBA gear instead of fun stuff like that.
I'll probably make a start on this later on tonight, got a bit of repairs and cleaning up to do now before a couple of footy games on TV. Hopefully I can keep up last week's form.

Well no explosions to deal with, finished with a respectable -7 for the first round to currently sit T8, so I guess I wasn't the only one to find it a bit more difficult to get birdies considering the current leader is at -9. Playing the next one today.

What a great looking golf course! Rd1 - Fair conditions today Mr scheduler because it’s not an easy track, finished -6, should’ve been lower but I had to battle trying to keep a straight swing all day. Although the waterfall is beautiful, that hole was the only hole I had tempo issues on (PlayStation)

So you're left with big rocks and a Mbumbu Village... The construction budget did include $$$ for IED removal- just keep it in the short grass and you'll be fine.

Plodding along, let’s see if a green tick can be achieved this week. Wind was promised and wind was received, which normally results in problems for me but I played cautiously and it bore fruit

I found no IEDs in the first two rounds thank goodness! I also found it quite hard to get close to the pin in both rounds, so I did not have very many realistic chances for a birdie putt. I did enjoy the course though and am glad the natives were not restless. I think I even will make the cut, so I can get rid of my last demo mark.

estou ansioso para voltar ! Rd 3 - Played blooming smashing gawlf. Genuinely could of been 12 or 13 under if the putter had been behaving. Safe in the clubhouse with -7 Rd 4 - less wind but much tougher than Rd 3. Struggled to keep a straight line but putted much better. Bogey on the 17th (great hole by the way) on the way to a slightly disappointing -5. Should get one green tick, outside chance of two ticks.
Really enjoyed the course, challenging, rewarding but fair.

Nice way to finish with a -8 to be -21 for the week. Hopefully be enough for a green arrow

I've enjoyed it too. I'll probably play the events anyway for practice if I do move up, or I might flop out from the next tier and wind up back again, who knows. I have certainly enjoyed the courses though. Will wait and see how the couple who still have a round to go fare as they could drop me down the leaderboard if they have a great final round.

Well we were both right in the end. I did drop one spot on the leaderboard but still moved up to Elite this week. I may or may not be back depending on how I go up there 🤣
