Finally got a round in on your course. I whole course is pure and natural. The shubbery is top notch, and planting all those grasses is a commitment (personally, I know), The holes played great, with a lot of strategy and shot making. Good luck in the contest, I'm sure it will do well!

Finally can bump this and say All hail the Barbarians!
Glad I got to fly around and get some beauty shots of the course. GL in the contest. I thought the lake and farm fit really well with the course style and the planting was more innovative than I think people will give it credit.

scootmcgoot – Thanks for the compliments. Hopefully I nailed the conditions in terms of difficulty. That was probably my toughest part of the process. damay6977 – Glad you enjoyed it. I really had fun making hole 11 even though I must have scrapped it 4 or 5 times. Thanks for the compliments as well! @cody_Vols_2331 – Was really cool to see a top 10 player in the game play it! Too bad you had tempo issues. Been there before! InThisStyle – Hole 4 was the first hole I created as hole 1 until I had to reorder some holes to make the routing work. Hole 5 was also my first attempt at a template hole (LEVEN) so very glad it worked out well! Thank you for the support! adamhill413 - Appreciate the play and glad you enjoyed it! SkyBlueBen – Thanks Ben. Appreciate your feedback! Also, thanks for considering our Barbarian courses to the schedule! @celtic Wolf – Appreciate your support especially from a fellow Barbarian! Glad to be a part of a wonderful group of talented designers! BaconJunkie1 – Glad you and your friends had a great time playing. Hopefully you will play better next time! jimgem and Avakrac – Huge thank you for both of you giving this one a play. Always a big fan of both of your video’s you guys put out on a constant basis. What a privilege it was to realize you both uploaded a playthrough of my course! thanks for the support! scottish67 – Really appreciate your comments and feedback. I’ve seen your designs and can say the same about yours! Thanks for the play and hopefully will see you put out a course soon. lucheyschoe – Appreciate the play. Glad you really enjoyed it! TeeeJ9798 – Really glad you are part of the Barbarians now. Especially since you have a PC and can start taking screen shots! That was a condition right? Right? Thanks for the support and the screen shots again. No way my course would have gotten this much attention without those beautiful pictures you took. As far as the farm and lake. Appreciate you noticed. One thing I’ve learned from a lot of guys on here is small details go a long way. And I wanted to maximize the plot and having the lake and farms did that for me. Thanks again.

This is the best planting I have ever seen on a course. Wow. Just wow. Well done. That’s a pretty nice compliment there! Sure that is debatable but thank you. Put a ton of time into making it look as natural as possible. Thanks for checking it out!

Cracking course and it plays so naturally. The planting is spot on and gives a lazy Sunday afternoon vibe with the lighting. Some really lovely risk/reward, of which I always go for. Got off to a shocking red slow start and bookended it with an average approach to 18, but thoroughly enjoyed my round. Really armoured by the off course stuff as well. The waste areas were very unique i.imgur.com/pxM2rdN.jpgA wonderful little complex lakeside by the first green i.imgur.com/UM8QD22.jpgThe outhouse was a wonderful touch with it's unique extension i.imgur.com/RyX9eTz.jpgSpeaking of unique, the art piece on the island looked great i.imgur.com/mmVQPu0.jpgThe plot glistens in the sunlight i.imgur.com/6KoIK2A.jpgA wonderful clubhouse with the garden growing up the front i.imgur.com/iT9pC0W.jpgLoved the farmland i.imgur.com/OnOzyTr.jpg

HoneyBadgerHacker , I'll be honest but Hideki just didn't "float my boat" but this... this is A grade stuff. The planting being the highlight. Loved the use of the little inland dams as filler between holes and esp. the creek near clubhouse. I find too many waterways feel forced. These felt completely natural. The surrounds created a really immersive environment and the routing and hole design had great variety and maintained my interest throughout. Some great strategy on a few holes where I decided to keep driver in the bag which added to the authenticity that I was actually playing a real course. Great work and good luck! I'd be surprised if this wasn't top 5.

Forgot to add... course photos in threads and those in the TGCT database are often a fair indication of what to expect but actually playing Sandy Boots exceeded my expectations.

Just seeing this now and its so beautiful. How did you make the grasses so visible from a decent distance? Are those mostly grasses or plants off the fairway?
Its just stunning and im freaking jealous haha!
