Welcome to Spirit Dunes! This small little links course is a secret side project that I have been working on this summer and I am happy to say that it is finally complete. Large waste bunkers and towering pines surround you out on the course. It is a Par 58 with 14 Par 3’s and 4 short Par 4’s. I really had a lot of fun with this one, it was basically me just trying to make as many stunner Par 3’s as possible . I tried a different color scheme with the green fairways and dry brown rough and I believe that it looks pretty good especially with the low lighting. Here are some pictures of the course: Spirit Dunes offers two tee positions: The Green Tees which are the shorter of the two and the Gold Tees which sit about ten yards behind the green tees on most holes. This course also provides 4 pin positions per hole. I recommend Pin 1/Gold Tees for the best experience on this course. The greens are rather tough with a lot of slopes, but you will mostly have a wedge or short iron to the green on most holes. There are also a lot of helping slope as well. There are many hole-in-ones up for grabs here at Spirit Dunes. This was the first course that I sketch out the course before actually building it in the designer. Here is a picture of my original sketch of the course: And the actual plot compared to the sketch: If you have time feel free to give it a play and give some feedback as well! All feedback is welcome! I hope you all have fun out there in the dunes!

This needs to go on the DAM Society schedule next season! Looks great, can't wait to give it a play. Maybe we'll feature it on Is It Tho? soon too.

Had a really good time. Just a solid executive course layout. Keep up the good work man. This definitely makes me look forward to your future designs.

Had a really good time out there Owen. Loved the greens and 14 was one of my favourite holes, love a par four you can drive with a 3 wood, great job!

I agree with all the statements of how fast you are imporving Owen. This is a great little plot and trask, fun hole designs and your planting is getting more realistic. Great progress! Can'ty wait to see your CC course from the weirdo Group!

Really enjoyed this one. It was a nice layout and the greens offered enough variation to keep it interesting. The wind definitely impacted each shot. Oh...and almost aced #8...within 3 inches!
