Ah yes, can’t believe you saw that one on 18 that’s buried in there lol If there's a willow, I'll see it Really enjoyed the course though! Glad you enjoyed it 👍

Course looks great - definitely a good Oak Hill kind of vibe. I appreciate your parkland focus. And not to make too much of this, but the Willow tree stuff is funny. @cd06, not sure what type of Willows you're used to in England, but the Willows in this game actually approximate Weeping Willows in the mid-Atlantic US states pretty well. That's why I used them in one of my courses, where I wanted to represent the type of courses I used to play a lot. Of course, you're welcome to disagree! Now if we could only get a proper quaking Aspen tree

Now if we could only get a proper quaking Aspen tree I think it's just the way they render from far out in particular. I really dont like them up close in game, especially the yellow ones. They just look too stringy. In the UK, they have a similar shape but definitely look natural

they're not perfect, like many things, but they are distinctive and fit in certain places if your emotional, nostalgic attachment helps overcome the actual rendering!

Given it multiple playthroughs now and as I've played all your courses (and you know im a fan) I'll try to give you some critiques on this one.
Overall this is a really solid parkland style course and I ended up liking it quite a bit, I personally prefer your less subdued parkland style courses like Carnoustie cove or Royal Pines that manage to nail the aesthetic of what you're going for while still giving a little extra on the eye candy front.
In regards to hole design I didn't really "get" hole 12 as the hole didnt feel very intuitive to play, maybe I'll understand it more after some more plays.
Once again I think the highlight of the course is the green complexes (commonly my favorite thing in your designs), there are only a few people that I feel can do better parkland than you so I'm glad you're continuing to refine your design style!
As for difficulty I weirdly found this one pretty easy maybe due to the lack of in play hazards (played with High winds and 187s with very firms, shot a -10 on the first round I played pin 1). This is not a slight against the course, more I was surprised as I think this could actually make a good Kinetic/CC course despite your claims of difficulty.
Looking forward to your next creations as always -Q

Looking forward to your next creations as always -Q Thanks for the critique Q. Really appreciate the feedback. 12 is one of those holes where I just get bored of making straight fairway to green and I just get a little wild. With the difficulty, honestly that’s probably my initial reaction because I’ve just been doing designer and haven’t really played the game at all the past few months that I just put it to master and sprayed the ball everywhere. So I would have shots into the green from the rough and it’s pretty tough to even have it hold the small greens. It’s definitely easy when you hit fairways. I’m thinking about doing another southern course like Carnoustie Cove except more secluded not coastal. Definitely feel like I’m improving my sculpting and design skills with each course I make which feels good.

looks fantastic. in my society it goes. Got my society rd in this morning. Great course and a few holes had a Tillinghast look to it. I slapped all over but managed even par rd. I'll be playing it again.
