axelvonfersen Nope! Essentially, my plan is to hide my course from both the forums and Discord. A terrible strategy, and I might end up revealing something anyways if that plan fails. Basically, since I have almost zero chance of being drafted, that pretty much allows me to hide the course haha. If you're not drafted and are participating as an alternate you will be selected to a team and invited to a discord. All the alternates were in by the end of last year so participation is encouraged whether you are picked on draft night or not. Okay that makes sense, cheers Kenyon  |

And yeah, as to Charlie/Kenyon's exchange above, I can't stress the team aspect of this contest enough. There'll be team Discord channels set up and a huge part of the team setup is helping others whilst listening to advice others give you. We don't want people lurking in the shadows and then dropping a course out of nowhere - it's not a lone wolf contest and it's really refreshing being able to ask others for help or input. Watching last year's Blue Team Discord, it was great seeing how much certain courses developed from the initial ideas due to people wanting to learn and adapt - I know JC found the same with Red. We're going to look at ways to push that even further this year.
At this stage, it looks like we will have alternates - I appreciate that's always a letdown on draft night, but you will still be involved in Discords, get playthrough videos and judging feedback. Can't speak highly enough of the alternates last year and worth noting that all of them actually ended up in the main field.

We toyed with this idea last year and I'm going to give it a bit more consideration ahead of the contest. The main reason we didn't go with it was that captains may want to keep certain ideas under wraps rather than the other team getting a sneak preview. We did allow a few guys on console to do it though as a way of backing up the files in case of corruption to level the playing field with PC designers, who can (and should) back up files at will. |

Ok, cheers Ben. I joined after the first Dream Team started so I'm not 100% sure how it will all go down  but I'm looking forward to it. If I don't make it onto Matt or Dan's drafts... I'll hope to make my team proud no matter what |

Why draft me : Creativity : if I could execute 1/10th of my ideas you'd all be sh!tt!ng your pants right now. mattyfromcanada said and I quote "this may be the single most creative thing I've seen in this game" (however, it was in reference to a drum kit). Skateparks, we got em, roller coasters, we got em, croquette, tree houses, concert venues, stadiums, boats and hoes, we got em all. Everyone's waiting for a full 18 holes set below the hills of Catalina as Dale rocks the sh!t out of those drums. Lets give it to them!  |

Terry Grayson texted me and said he was having computer issues, and wanted me to help him sign up, so here goes. This is definitely official. TerryGrayson PC Buzzard Point, Cades Cove You should draft Terry as he definitely fills the redredredredredneck quota for your team. You will also never ever have to ask "what's that smell???" as you'll know what that smell is. So again, this is official for sure, and we are delighted to have Terry back competing again!!!! LFFFFFGGGGGGGGG!!!!!!!
