Ok, I tried uninstalling and reinstalling my third time now. Sadly the red fast and slow fast even on pro am is hard too handle (was on tgc tours at one point before all these updates). That is as bad as usual and still can’t shoot below 75 on even the easiest of courses; However, now I run in stretches where my player won’t allow me to take a putting stroke on the green. My golfer will just stand there and I can’t take the putter back or thru. I thought maybe it was a glitch on a hole possibly. So I kept on taking unplayable lies until I maxed out stroke limit for that hole. But low in behold this new ‘glitch’ will hit me 3-4 times a round now.
What should my course of action be now My system is up to date. I have zero lag . And have a new series x controller
I'm playing on a Series X and I have only seen the unable to swing glitch occur two times. On one occasion I quit the game via the XBox Guide button and was able to execute the stroke when I came back after restarting the game. I will say that I do seem to get more Red Fasts in the last 6 to 8 weeks than I did the first couple of months following the introduction of the 60 Hz vsync option for the XBox. It was about the time they nerfed the Red Slow, server side patch, so I'd guess there's some correlation to that and the more erratic tempo.
In support of your observation about the difficulty being overly punitive on pro-am, I play in a Society that has three, 18 hole daily tournaments, on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, where the swing difficulty is set to "Pro". We then play a 72 hole tournament, Thursday through Sunday, with the swing difficulty set to "Pro-Am". I've noticed virtually no difference in the average 18 scores between the Pro and Pro-Am rounds. I know if I was to be put in a blind study lab test playing each swing difficulty, I couldn't tell you whether I was playing Pro or Pro-Am swing difficulty. The same could not have been said, for me at least, prior to the the Red Slow nerfing.
Oh, what display are you using? I know it's a basic question, but you are sure that you are in "Game" mode on your display, and secondly, that you have checked to see that you have 60 Hz enabled on your graphics settings in the game menu for your Series X. It defaults to 30 Hz and it's something that would be easy to overlook when doing removals and reinstallations. I know it happened to two of my friends!
