I now know how Lee Westwood feels…
Tricky approach? No problem. Wind? Yes, please, lots of it. Short putts on slippery greens? HEEELLPP
-7 & -1 in rounds 3 & 4 for a -21 total.
Any putting clinics coming up? 😎😎😎
Best wishes Frans

Do we no longer play RCRs on the Platinum? Lovely lidar of one of England's best courses hosting The Open this week.

That R4 finishing hole is a doozy. -31 this week, played a bit better over the weekend rounds but just had no luck, nothing 50/50 dropped this week.
Good luck everyone left to finish.

Hello. I wonder how many cuts I would have made (or demo marks I would have spared) if my rounds just counted backwards. Clearly, my current swing (2,5 week old calibration) is not yet stable enough to perform well under pressure. On the other hand, it's so funny how being on the Plat Tour and not making cuts can affect a mindset. I've been competing on TGCTours since August 2017 (in Plat since the start of this season), and I've never been nervous during my rounds until recently. After missing a few cuts in a row, it seems that just making a cut has become such an achievement that I get nervous because I want it so badly. Ah well, maybe next week. Cheers and good luck all!

I felt like this Mup after the update. Never experienced nerves to make a cut until then. So I decided to change my mindset whilst struggling to. I must avoid red marks which is setting my sights lower than the cut. Since then I’ve felt less pressure and cleared two red lately and made a few cuts which was a bonus.

So what's the consensus on where the cutline will end up?

So what's the consensus on where the cutline will end up? I'd say -8. Maybe -9.

3 straight cuts made going into an absolute beast of a course, with a shot at the top 50 in the world if I can make the cut and play decent. Gulp. Also it’s the last major of the year. AHHHHHHHHH 67-63 means -10 at the half. 4th cut made in a row. LEGO.

Just a quick congrats to Anson Dempsey who qualified for this event and finished T-5th. I offered him a promotion to Platinum and he took it.
