Welcome folks to the last major of the season! Earlier this season it was brought to my attention that not many links courses had been scheduled in Platinum and in looking for fun ones to schedule I found there was maybe 3ish courses total in the game at the moment that could hold a TRUE Open style major event! In the ensuing conversation, an offer was brought to the table, effectively a course was basically commissioned for this event! mattyfromcanada was the main brainchild behind this course but it quickly turned into a MASSIVE Collab with many prominent designers in the community along with several up and coming stars. I don't believe I've ever seen this many people working on a course at the same time effectively taking shifts in order to finish it on time. And the course turned out freaking incredible, not to mention truly menacing. I'd like to thank mattyfromcanada b101 mattf27 mctrees02 axelvonfersen and mvpmanatee for making this possible and I hope you all enjoy! It was made for you guys!

I really hope you guys enjoy the test that this course will provide! I've played it a few times now and I can confirm you'll have to bring your best to score around here. Matty and friends did a superb job bringing this to life and I'm sure you'll find the challenge tough but rewarding. Good luck!

On another level this course is. Can't wait to shoot my rounds on it. I don't think I'll contend for a win here unless the stars align. You need to be spot on with your driver. Don't miss fairways on the long par 4s or you're going to be lucky to par on some of the pin positions.
May the tempo be with all of you this week. We're going to need it.

I'll be playing this for the golden cow, not currently in platinum so not in contention, and probably won't score that well but I enjoy challenging myself on these more difficult courses. I think if I can manage under par for the week I'll be happy. Good luck to those in the proper event.

Still hereβ¦ πππ
Now if only I wasnβt the worldβs worst putter on Platinum, these first two rounds could have been very nice. Tee to green, I played lovely except for one hole - the long par 3 early in round 2, where I left myself a 24 meter 1 meter uphill putt, which ended right back at my feet after which I putted it off the greenβ¦ double bogey. πππ
One more bogey due to putting and at least half a dozen missed opportunities on the other 35 holes.
-7 & -6 for -13 halfway
Good luck all, Frans

Certainly a fun, earnest test this week. Whoever the winner is will have played well and hit quality drives and approaches.
I enjoyed my way around but wasn't sharp enough to compete, finished up 25 under for the week. Best of luck to all.

First week here. Probably won't tee off until Tuesday as I have not played the course yet. Perfect week to come up during a Major!

-4 at the cut. -1, then -3. A double bogey on 18 in R1 really took the wind out of my sails. Wasn't much of a round before that, but that really killed it. Probably in line for some demos, but that's ok. Can't really complain this week - overall I thought my tempo was fine. Of course had a few red fasts off the tee, but that's to be expected. Overall most approaches felt good tempo wise, I just missed a lot of shots. Really tough course, good luck to the rest of you!

Nothing like finding a bit of form and shooting -6 -9 in first two rounds of The Open, to then get an email next day telling me I had been demoted π€£π€£π€£. ππ»ππ»ππ»

3 straight cuts made going into an absolute beast of a course, with a shot at the top 50 in the world if I can make the cut and play decent.
Gulp.
Also itβs the last major of the year.
AHHHHHHHHH

Needed to go -7 over the last 7 holes of the qualifier, including an eagle on 18, to just squeak out qualification for this tourney. Super pumped for, and abjectly terrified of, this week. I'll be happy as long as I don't completely wet my pants in front of the big boys and girls.

Hello.
Well well well. I escaped the demo mark territory by one stroke twice in the last four weeks. This week, I probably won't be able to repeat that feat again. I hadn't planned to play two rounds yesterday evening, but my swing felt quite good and I shot a satisfying score earlier on in Happy tee Friends. So I spontaneously decided to jump right in for two rounds. What a bad decision. My tempo disappeared immediately. Out of nervosity, I went +2 in the first four holes. Fortunately, I recovered a little on the back 9, and with 3 birdies in the last four holes, I got to an ok -3. I started round two conservatively sitting at E through 7 holes, and then disaster struck. A red tempo approach landed in a heavy slope, and it took me numerous tries to get out. Quad bogey. On such a course, this is the end of the story. -5 would have been no man's land, -1 is demo mark land. See you next week.
-3 and +2 for -1 halfway
Cheers and good luck all!

-14 halfway. Played really well T2G but putter was icy, with some ruthless lipouts and 2 3-putts.
