sandsaver01 Mate what help would you need ? I can do a write up before and after each match if it would help. I dont really want to get back into spreadsheets as I did that a lot in wgt in a club I ran and it wore me out. I know what I offer isnt much but I also advertised on the cc challenge divisions a few weeks back as well (didnt get much joy mind). Thanks for the offer Darren, you are a good DirtBag! I really am not sure what is needed to keep this thing going. I am happy to be a player and to continue to take care of the scoresheet but I don't want to be in charge; that was Bill O's thing and he was a good organizer and cheerleader for the group. Bino is willing to help but he has a job and a life as well. I think we should take a break after the season, see what changes might be made at TGCTours, and then decide if we want to keep going.

Round 3: -6 (65). Love it when more than half of the things go my way. Chip for birdie hole 2, pitch in from 71 and a half on 3 for eagle. Another chip in for eagle on 10. Cleared my +5 score through 2 in the front 9, sadly only added one more to it at the back. However, the kind of round and score needed to show I just got unlucky at the first half. Round 4: -2 (69). Opportunities were had, almost none used. Front 9 steady even with 9 pars. Birdie-bogey 10 and 11. Even through 16 holes, then 2 birdies to finally get something in. More unlucky playing to wrap up the season, however I will take this finish. Way better than being tons over par which it easily could have been. Whatever might come next, I will say that I've had a blast the 3 seasons I've been with the group. This has been the reason I've hung on this long: when I first joined I was going nowhere, then through the constant updating this was the one thing keeping me sane. If I was only playing against myself and the cut, I might have given up entirely because there's no fun in that. However, this has given me a new lease of life with the game and I'm back to actually enjoying it. I can definitely imagine the longer the TGCT season went, the harder it got to organize these, so the efforts to make it happen against the odds are commendable. I have nothing but respect to everyone that take the time to make these things work, just so we have something more to look forward to weekly than just an aimless shootout that may or may not go anywhere. Completely agree on the wait and see approach, time will tell where anything goes next. Cheers, I think we all need a break at this point. sandsaver01

The DirtBags season has now reached the end. There was no change in the team rankings, with Fore Stars on top and Prestige Worldwide a strong second; Nacho (wellll below) Average Squad buried under the pig poop in the pig truck.
For the individual honors it was very close with Luke Jackson over Mike Bryan by just one point, Jayden Engels only four back. Congratulations to the winning team and individual (that and 79¢ will buy you a gas-station cappuchino).
I think the DBs, if they have another season will wait to start to see how the TGCTours changes shake out. Switching to Pro swing may bring some people back who left when the tempo changed so it may be easier to find 16 or more players. I would certainly like to see somebody step up and take charge of a new league, but I will be happy to keep playing and doing the scoresheet if that new leader wants.
Again thanks to all of you who made it through a trying season, and hit'em long and straight!
