Yes, same. I'm enjoying plotting my way around this course at the moment and it's very easy on the eye, but I've been lucky to have been blessed with pretty solid tempo (so far). Thanks to the recent changes in the mechanics it's the kind of course where you can rack up a big score in a hurry, there's more than the fair share of forced carries. Personally I think you need to be a little careful scheduling courses like this because you'll just turn people away. Reaching the stroke limit on par 3's is not fun! It's not the course's fault, she's a beauty. I do agree with you here, the red tempo changes came into the game right around publish and upped the difficulty for a number of holes that were pretty testy to begin with. If your tempo is solid there's plenty opportunities for sure Well I gave you 5 stars and a favourite Cathal, it ticks all my boxes. I may retract them if my last two rounds go tits up! I've just spent 2 years making a course which is almost entirely forced carries. On Masters it's borderline unplayable. Cheers HB 👍

The way the tempo is misbehaving at the moment I'd struggle on a bloody pitch and putt course. I might as well just swing randomly on the stick because that's about all I'm getting trying for consistency. I don't even get this frustrated on a real course FFS.

I'm a relatively new CC-L player and I'm simply not good enough near the greens for this course right now.
Multiple shots per round duffed and rolling back to the character's feet, or else switching to pitches and spannering them 20 foot past the hole and down a break in the green.
Nothing against the course designer, because the shots you're being asked to play are fine, I just can't hit them.

Played Rd1 last night and all I can say is hole 12 will be the death of my tourney. Had a good -6 going until then, then doubled as I struggled to get up the right side of the green. Very nice course though, I love the strategy involved, we don't see enough of that in this game.

Ugh... 2 factors I did not consider.
1. Forward tees for Round 2. Lost a 3W and hybrid in the water as they went long on the fairway.
2. Pin positions 3 & 4. There are a couple front locations that you just can't go at, such as hole 2. I went full Tin Cup there and eventually just popped to the back and putted down for 9. The tailwind says play the distance minus 5, but the false front and water make it +1 club. Some of these are so isolated on the wings you have to convince yourself to play center of green and go for par.
Birdies are hard out here.

I wanted to give the thumbs up to Alan Taylor's (Aradmcc) TCGtours practice site. Helped me out a ton. Able to shoot +3 for Rd 2 which was pretty damn decent for me as this current course is deceptively difficult. Hole #2, posted already about eating an 8 in Rd 1, but able to make par in Rd 2. Will play Alan's practice Rd 3 later today...looks like I'm making another cut...pigs are indeed flying!

I'm very happy right now! Round 1: 3 double bogeys and managed to post even par. My play is finally starting to show the same toughness I had before the changes. Lots of birds. Round 2: Bogey free 5 under, I swear I missed about 7 birdie chances in a row on the back 9. All my birds came on the front, parred in.The last two holes I had to grind for par. On the final hole I tried getting over the water on shot 2 even though I was in the heavy rough. I landed short of the water and bounced and rolled across, then back onto the bridge. Went a little left into the rough by the bunker on shot 3, and I pitched to 10ft from there. Sunk the putt for the bogey free 67/ Dunno if this makes the cut in CC-B, but I had a lot of fun for the first time in a very long time.
Rd 4: Oops, maxed out on hole 2 , water water water water, +11 total

R1: -2 through 9 holes, then +2 after 15. Birdie on 16 has me finish with a 73 (+1).
Now for the real fun. Bear in mind the cut line in CC-G is +4.
R2: Head to the 11th hole at -1 overall, 5 shots clear of the cut line. Fast red off the tee trying to go for the green. Land on the island, not in the water. Long story short, end up with a 10 on the par 4. Now +5 and outside the cut line. I finish my round with birdie-birdie-bogey-double bogey-birdie. 76(+4) R2. +5 overall and miss the cut by one.
Tempo stunk. But decision making stunk even more. Missed opportunity to get rid of the demo marks incurred last week.

I think you're supposed to get better throughout the tourney right? I did not lol.
R1 - 71 R2 - 72 R3 - 73 R4 - 74
Should definitely make the cut in CC-G, but it doesn't look like I'll be getting any promo points this week. As I said before though, I really enjoyed this course, it was definitely a challenge, but I like not being able to just pound driver or 3 wood on every tee shot. Some of those pin locations were pretty tough though! Hole 12 will forever haunt me.

Damn...round 3...could only get through the front nine before saying screw it shutting it down for now. I swear that every hole that had water associated with it, I found it...more than twice on some holes. My avatar was fist pumping for sinking putts for double bogey. I'll try to finish the last 9 holes later but I'm pretty well cooked for this tourney.

R 1 (Monday) & R 2 (Tuesday): -7 (69,68) R 3 & R 4 (today): +10 (78,76)
Same player, same clubs, same course, same settings, pretty much the same conditions and the same swings. WTF is going on? Sick joke, maybe i totally forgot how to play this game all of a sudden, cause...what else could it be?

I had my worst showing since I first started playing in the Tours when I had no clue what I was doing way back in Oct.
I had 2 Max holes in Rd 2 with my ball finding the water.
I shot 83 and 86 for my rounds. What a pleasure that was.....
And this came after I shot 65 (-7) on the Plat course in their Rd 2. My tempo was terrific and then I went to my rounds in CC and couldn’t get the red fast tempo to disappear.
Before the updates I was shooting 61-70 in my CC rounds. After the 2nd update I’ve been shooting 68-78 before the two 80s in this tourney.
I had no issues with the updates. I had felt in the game I was basically sleep walking with the red fast drives. I always played for perfects on the approach shots. I don’t mind the game pretty much being decided with tempo. I just wish the tempo didn’t seem random. It probably isn’t random but at times I feel my Terrific practice swings feel the same as my actual shot but a red fast or red slow pops up.
I’ll keep plugging away.

Tough course. Definitely had more teeth in R3 & R4. Seemed to be a combo of the winds and tougher pins.
R1: 61 R2: 63 R3: 69 R4: 70
R4 could’ve been a few strokes better, but I took my foot of the pedal after the R3 throat punch.
