Well, I will start off by saying that my first two rounds went 60-58 and I am very happy with that. I knew from the start that this course clicked with me so with a solid 3rd and 4th round I might be in with a chance to get my first win!

Well, a disappointing 3rd and 4th rounds of 61-63 put me out of contention. I will still take a lot of confidence from this week

Well my first two rounds at Gewella have shown a massive upturn in fortunes for me. Two 65s should hopefully be enough to make the cut for the first time. I think the keys for my improvement were practice and wind management. I had a free weekend and played the course many times, when I started my rounds for real I knew all about drive placement and how receptive the greens were. I also got to grips with the wind, especially side winds. I got 1 bogey on the two rounds which I wasn't happy about and also missed a couple of putts. I'd be happy with another two 65s in my final two rounds though!

This one ain't starting off too bad for me. 2 solid rounds of -10 has me sitting nicely to make the cut, and currently tied for 2nd (with only showing 1st round scores on leaderboard). Course was fairly nice to me, winds were calm enough averaging 5-7mph. Might wait until maybe friday though before starting rounds 3 & 4, see how the rest of the field gets on up to and after the cut. Good luck to everyone playing this week.

Very high chance thats a winning score, but if not should be at least in the top 3. Well done great score.

Finished all four rounds at the weekend, probably my best four rounds in one tournament 64,63,59,62 good for a -40 under. Looking at last weeks scoring might get into the top 15 if I'm lucky. Still missed a lot of putts from close range, it could have been so much better.

I managed to get within one shot of you on my first round but I'll not get near you for the 4 rounds in total, well played. I've still to play rounds 3 and 4. Wish I'd played them when I was on form at the weekend!

I was lucky when I played Saturday because the wind never got above 6 mph so I decided to play all four rounds one after the other Burned the hole a good few times in all the rounds could have been in the fifties for all four but pleased with what I've got Dean You've put two good starting rounds in though, I hope they are good enough to make the cut for you.

It's hard to get that perfect round lessangster! I was gutted with my bogey and also missed a number of putts. My winds were higher but I'd practiced with the same winds and pretty much knew the score. I hope it's enough. It might be my best chance for a while!

FWIW, the LGGT tour just played four rounds at this course and the winning score was -51. And that field includes many golfers in the top 50 of the TGC Tours world rankings.

I don't think it's that tough a course there are plenty of short par fours to get pitch shots close for birdies and if the winds in the right direction you can get drives over the two streams that intersect the fairways in a couple of places I like the natural way the course looks and if the winds high or wrong direction it could play tough

So I decided I'd go back and just do the 3rd & 4th rounds. Winds pretty much the same as the 1st 2, less on a few holes with 0mph on a couple. Still didn't help me though. Scores for all 4 rounds were 62, 62, 64 & 65. Missed quite a few putts on the 2nd 2 rounds, if not burning the lip of the hole they were hopping right over. Actually shouted at the screen one of the times it hopped over cause didn't seem to be going fast enough to hop the hole, but them's the breaks I suppose. So a finishing score of -35 anyway, hopefully good enough for a top 20 finish, I know won't be near the top though as there more and more good low 1st round scores appearing on the leaderboard.
