Hi all, hope your all well? Well here I am back in Elite after starting Season here, getting promotion, to which I think I made maybe 4 cuts in total, kept missing cut line by a stroke or two, but by never enough to earn Demotion Marks, that however dramatically changed a few weeks back when the swing changed and them demotion kisses came thick and fast Now as for my rounds, well, things began where I left off in Platinum, Parred 1st, Bogeyed 2nd, Double Bogeyed 3rd, +3 thru 3H's now as I'm not here to try and compete at the top, my main aim is to actually make some cuts and with that start I thought "Here we go again" I battled back to finish -2 for the Round. Round 2 began with 8 straight pars, then I went -6 for the next 5 holes (where did that come from?) a bogey and 1 more Birdie later leaves me at -9 thru 36H's. Not knowing how scoring is here, but i am hoping it will squeak me in for my 1st tgctours cut in weeks. Good Luck all, play well. *Edit* I am so bad at this game its untrue, If I make the cut, I finished event at +2

As usual.. I start off really hot on tgc tours. First round was -7. Then as usual, I shot a +2 in the second round. Will most likely miss cut again.Have to say this is one unforgiving course.High winds, very tiny undulated fairways, and greens with multiple speeds.A very tough test

Cheers for getting the thread started boys. Forum neglect for me over the holiday weekend. Hope everyone enjoys Lahinch. An absolutely classic RCR by theclv24From the designer: The initial routing of the course is credited to Old Tom Morris in 1894, and in 1927, prior to his work at Augusta National, Cypress Point, and Royal Melbourne, Alister MacKenzie submitted a redesign. The club makes frequent use of a quote attributed to MacKenzie: “Lahinch will make the finest and most popular course that I, or I believe anyone else, has ever constructed.” Not a bad duo of designers! Prevailing Wind - I recommend West or Southwest, occasionally Northwest. For the best experience, I also recommend setting wind speeds to a minimum of High. Turning off Scout Cam also heightens the experience.

-6 -2 to be 1 shot behind SMIFFYLFC79 at the cut!!! I'm fuming to be honest as this is one of my favourite courses in the game

-8 first round followed by a +2 second round and probably missed cut. This game does my nut in!

Looks like my stay in elite will be very short lived.Three events; three missed cuts by only 1 or 2 strokes.Oddly, my first rounds have been averaging 6-8 under. The second rounds of even or one over kill me.And than I will finish the event no matter what and shoot very well the third and fourth rounds.Where in one event if I made the cut I would’ve almost had a top 10.Oh well, maybe not the tour division for me I guess

Approach shots killed me this week. 44% gir in first round, 56% second. Pretty much if I could hit it on the green and catch a ridge to funnel just off into the fringe, I did. Between the 2 rounds I probably had at least 6 or 7 short chips miss going in by inches. Lack of hitting greens and no real luck with my chips got me through each round in -2 so -4 isn't gonna get it done.
Course was nice I thought. I'm not super familiar with the real version so can't speak on a comparison but I thought it was a good test especially with the winds up. Like I said I had so many shots be off by maybe 10ft, catch a ridge, and end up off the green. Aggravating while playing but the sign of a design meant to really challenge you and separate those who can be precise with their approaches.
