Pretty sure you have to at least play in the qualifier to be eligible to represent your country, even with the casting of chicken innards and general jiggery-pokery involved with resolving who is in or not. However, as expected, Sam is doing well in the CC-A comp this week. Lol, I was looking at the wrong leaderboard. As you were! Got me all excited for a minute then! Sorry to say I don’t bother with the Platinum event qualifiers, I’m a flat track bully who falls apart on those courses

Kevin, nothing but girls in this house either. Sorry for having caused confusion. The older child is a boy, the newborn is a girl.

honeybadger64 kick a Pirate when he is down! I lost this week but only 1-0 as round 3 was a tie as well. I am loathe to argue with the Mayor of my new home (well from next week) but I am emboldened with the laws of mathematics on my side. Jesse scored a -12 round three of 59 which is adjusted to 58. The Pirates scored a -8 round of 63 which is adjusted to 59. I have double checked the scores as I can see them, tour memberships according to tgc.com and Wikipedia but I just can't find a way that 58=59. The appeals process is obviously still open to all teams. My bad Commish/Greg, was looking crosseyed at the scores. As you were.

Tranmere are consistent in shooting over par rounds, so at least they're good at something
R3 73/+2 (Adj 67) R4 73/+2 (Adj 67)
Looks like another demotion for me to CC-I... Might be able to post 4 consistent rounds without a wild triple bogey somewhere in there this season
Tranmere are looking over their shoulders to see they will even get an invite back next season with how poor they are playing

That way we can at least have a bit of fun playing each other having air shots at open goals and players shorts falling down as they try to chase back. Absolutely no lack of invites for poor play, just non-participation Paul.

The Sky Blues have now forgotten their troubles on the walled barren northern wasteland and are now looking forward to playing where the sun never rises and it’s dark for 24 hours every day. I’m rather hoping default time of day is off the menu. Not good for XB/PS from what I hear.

Pixel Golf Football S3 - Championship, week 8, act 8: The Last One
Sweet FA Cup semi final: Hyvinkään Palloseura @ Juventus, second half
We had no illusions, no delusions. We knew we were going to get demolished this week no matter which tie we were going to get. The cup run was fun while it lasted, we were the last prelim team still standing and the fact we've played the equal number of games with the finalists once it's all said and done pretty much says it all! Was any other result than 4-0 REALLY in the cards? Maybe a certain other Italian team was hoping that was going to be the case, but sorry to disappoint on that one. We were fighters until the end, and the few fans that made the trips here and there, us going everywhere, probably had a fun time all the way through this little run. And because of our fighting, we have plenty of heroic footage to our DVD that's going to be released after the season, which our genius marketing team has titled Sunderland 'Til We Die. We're expecting the DVD to be about 4 minutes of football, and 86 of wacky shenanigans on the side.
To our opponent this week: well played. Way too much for us. Now if we could get to say we lost to the eventual cup winner, that would be nice, so... no pressure!
League: Hyvinkään Palloseura @ Barcelona, second half
Don't really know why, but this game seemed very tired in the second half. Lots of strange whiffs from the Finnish side that hindered all the opportunities, and didn't particularly have that great of a time on the pitch. Some of the more hilarious mishaps of this part of the game included: an intended pass where the passer was spun 450 degrees around the ball from missing the ball (hole 2 saw a par putt that spun 450 degrees around the hole and stayed out, not even kidding), a passer's leg getting bent 90 degrees in a freak accident, and the coup de grace: a potential leading goal never seeing the light of day because the power of the shot was inches too weak. So, goalless continuation and this game goes down to the wire. (Round 3: +1, 72)
Thankfully, the Barcelona side looks more tired than we are, even if we're spent too. We caught a second wind somewhere and managed to put this game away by scoring late. Didn't come easy: couple of shots and passes seemed to completely lose momentum out of literal nowhere (one splash that froze inches off the target, one ball rolling on the green stopped midway on an orange slope with speed still behind it) but eventually job done this week. We thinks it's too late now for the league standings but we shall see 'til the end. (Round 4: -3, 68)

Second half under way late due to too many oranges being consumed at half time in the dressing room and the Spurs team looked a bit sluggish giving the home team a good chance for three points and round 3 -3. Think this game is going to finish under the floodlights in a great atmosphere 👍

Well someone turned the floodlights off on the 18th and had a messy 7 when the ball hit the car park railings twice and went even further away from the hole 😄 Messed up me getting all four rounds under par and a round 4 +2.
