After taking a bit of a mauling in the first 22 minutes of the match vs Canterbury, Herne Bay got their act together and started playing attacking pixel football golf, but so were Canterbury with both teams having six good chances of scoring. It was Herne Bay that managed to sneak one in the net to bring it back all square at half time. Rd 2 -6

Anyways...
With Tranmere having a change of kitman, he also brought in a conditioning coach as they had all turned into fat buggers the past couple of weeks. This brought some players to have a different perspective on how they play the game, but would it actually in a real game... Which it did for about 20 minutes then everyone fell over like a pack of cards.

Did anyone else get @!$#ed by their tee shot on the 16th into OB? Yes, in rd 1 thought that looks a good bit of fairway to get closer to the hole. Thing is I was warned, but didn't take notice

Did anyone else get @!$#ed by their tee shot on the 16th into OB? I was about to play my shot there but I saw all those white posts and thought I'd better just check where the OB was. Couldn't believe it when I saw it was that whole right side, I had to double check the hole against the map! I bet it caught loads of people out this week.

Ahh boys I tried to warn you, see page 36. It’s caught loads of people out in the CC forum too. With the out of bounds and the bridge and the green it’s a hole littered with potential for catastrophe. It’s Burton Albion away in the 3rd round of the FA Cup!!!

Barcelona - Hyvinkään Palloseura The enigma that is Pixel Golf Football Barcelona came out for the second half hopeful they could find their form from the beginning of the game. It was not meant to be. Bitten by the tempo bug and some really unfortunate luck Barca couldn’t muster anything in the attack and never really figured out how to fix what was going on R3: +1; R4: +6;

After getting back from yet another warm weather training camp the Villa lads took to the field not expecting to win against a top class team in Juventus. Now if they had actually did any training instead of sitting in the pub they might of done a bit better, but I doubt it. 0-4 to Juventus, well played.

I think Burton are stuck in the traffic or have hired the ex Spurs coach driver but the first half is coming to a close and maybe the break in Georgia and Tsinandali wine helped the players as second round -5. All still to play for and hopefully the Burton team have not gone for a Burton! Fear not John, Tyler is extremely reliable and will play tonight, always on the minutes but always plays. With that being said, the Brewers could do no wrong to start the match and grabbed the early lead (R1: -10). But eventually the adrenaline rush of witnessing their American basketball brethren win their first NBA championship in 50 years wore off (R2: Even).Burton head to the break in a familiar position and JFH will need to make some adjustments in the second half to get a result.

In an attempt to jump start their offense, Cassino Calcio makes a change at halftime, swapping a defender out for an attacking midfielder. The tactical switch seems to have paid dividends as the shots on goal came fast and furious towards the Pirates keeper.

Forgot about the Cup!
After Carlisle United took advantage of a stumble by an Azzurri defender to net an early 1-0 lead, the Italians buckled in and put the hammer down, equalizing before the half and putting a stamp on the game in the second, pulling away to a 3-1 victory.
A rematch with Juventus looms, unless the upstart Finns have a rabbit to pull out of their hat.

The tactical switch seems to have paid dividends as the shots on goal came fast and furious towards the Pirates keeper. ((R3: 59)) ((R4: 57)) The Pirates saw this tactic early, and somehow managed to negate the advantage. The stands were rocking on Soweto as the match entered the final 12 minutes still tied at nil (Round 3 -8). With 6 minutes left the Pirate keeper slipped but miraculously fisted a Cassino shot on goal into the stands (double Humph on 7 followed by and iggle on 8). The Cassino chips were stacked high, and Orlando could not beat back a final ante as Calcio scored in the final 2 minutes on a header as the keeper slipped one time too many (another double on 16) as the Italians stunned and shushed the home crowd to win 1-0 (round 4 -4). Well played Jesse, I never thought I was in the match until I was, then I could not keep up with your pace. Huzzah! Can we NOW stop talking about the tee shot on 16 and focus on that green instead? The pins on those last two rounds.....no place to land the ball and keep it on the green. SMH, still loved the course overall. Onward!

Unless you had the 295 driver and could clear the creek, there was no way you were going to have enough loft to stick your approach, particularly with the pin on the back half. The tee shot catching people off guard surprised me. I know I'm a pretty slow and deliberate player, but do people just grip it and rip it off the tee? That circle button is your friend!
