This week on the Kinetic we head to The Kootenay Club by Mary Jane Hamilton mjhamilton113 and no, I have no idea what a Kootenay is. I think MJ is has been smoking a little bit to much of the MJ if you know what I mean. I even googled it and nothing. I think I am going to have to change the rules about the names of courses that can be used here on the Kinetic, no words that are to big for me to pronounce or to hard for me to spell. No completely made up words to that confuse me, no words that refer to a tree of any kind, there is only so much that I can say about Oak or Pines, no words in languages that I do not understand. So from here on, all courses need to be easy to understand, such as New Golf Course, Old Golf Course, A Golf Course, and if you want to be really fancy, Marmalade which is the biggest most fancy word I know. I spent so much time trying to figure out what a Kootenay was that I did not even have time to work on the settings, I just closed my eyes, and hit the magic setting buttons at random, there is not one high wind round this week, can you believe that, disgraceful I know but Mary Jane is the one to blame for that. I am to upset to write anything more, good luck and have fun.

Kootenay is a region up in British Columbia, but I have yet to visit this area so maybe it’s not real LOL. Anyway, honored to be hosting such a prestigious event and hope everyone enjoys. Make sure to keep an eye on 4 & 15 and their alternate greens from day to day.

A rough debut last week got me two demo marks right off the bat. I felt I was really struggling again at Kootenay, wasn't until I saw the scoreboard that I realized everyone was. A -3 at the halfway point has me right on the cut line, it could go either way. Am hoping to scrape by and drop one of these demos right away.
I enjoyed the course but it was definitely tough, felt like missing the fairway was REALLY punishing as the rough was thick and the course was long.

I forgot the cut is top 65 and not top 60% like in the CC, definitely missed the cut but didn't add any demo marks this week so a step in the right direction?
