I may be a DNF this week, I'll be away from Friday morning and have other things to sort out before then so I'll start my rounds today, just depends if I make the cut in CCA whether I'll have time to complete 8 rounds.

Sadly I hit some good shots. Problem is my drive has been too good lately putting me in pitch range. I really wish HB would fix Xbox pitches bc I’d rather have a three putt than a three pitch every day of the year 😡
+19 round 1. Loathesome, but certainly guarantees the cow and chair for me another week

I enjoyed this course. It was tough with the wind but fun to have to play it with so many different shot types and shapes. Total -32 (-6, -10, -7, -9)

First round done, +5. I really liked this course, both the look and the challenge of it, and I didn't expect to score that well on it, but what the bloody hell have these idiots done with the tempo in this game? Even a restart didn't help this time, which I did in frustration after hitting a red slow off the tee on 13 then a red fast second shot, both of which felt like exactly the same stick movement to me. Far too many swings that felt normal coming up as red slows, it just ruins it.
There used to be a time when I could feel most times when I'd messed it up but now it's hardly ever the case. I have no problem with the more severe punishment for red tempo misses but f**k me it would be nice if what I do on the controller actually translated to the screen. I set shots up for a perfect tempo and if I miss grey it doesn't matter too much, but when I don't even know what swing I'll end up with it's just not fun in any way at all. I spent more time yelling obscenities at the TV than actually enjoying the course.
I'll try recalibrating the swing later on, but outside of that I'm lost as to how to get any semblance of consistency with this stupid sh%$ at the moment. It feels completely broken.

Second round done, tale of two nines there. Front 9 began with five birdies in a row and another on the 9th to be in good shape at the turn, then it all went to sh%$. Managed to at least finish under par for the round at -2 but I was about ready to throw the controller through the TV with these stupid random tempos deciding to appear again and ruin another promising round. How the hell you can slam the stick forward and still wind up with a red slow beats the hell out of me. Absolutely ridiculous.
+3 overall after two. Should be able to finish the event by Thursday.

Continuing to play pretty well across the board. Turns out, just like real life golf, this game is a lot easier when you hit the ball straight. Who knew?
R1: 70 (-2)

If I can get consistent with the tempo the frustration level will subside.
Rd 1 84 (+12)
Rd 2 65 (-7) probably the best I had with tempo since all of the updates.

Have been scrolling through the thread to see if there's a hard in/out registration period, etc., so I'll just ask - too late to hop in? Would be fun (in theory) to actually play all 4 rounds for a change. If I'm too late, no worries at all, just figured it never hurts to ask - thanks!
