First planting session under my belt. Didn't have the highest of expectations for the Carne-esque grassy hills and promptly exceeded expectations.   It isn't perfect, but it's much, much better than I'd anticipated being realistic for this publish. Everything off the course is done save for the very finishing steps in some spots in the town, so all that's left is populating the course with pretties. |

Same view, but with 99% level planting that will only change with some tiny tweaks and detail work. Anyone with free time and the willingness to be amazed, feel free to search up some images of Carne and/or Tralee. I seriously can't believe how well the planting work is coming together here and can only hope I do this idea justice. |

Yep. Nailed the look of Carne, Jives. I was originally gonna do stuff like that when the Irish links idea was still in swing for my own course. Looks great  |

Here's an unplanned discovery due to convos about scheduling/weather settings with Q.  Settings got changed to Morning/Overcast and suddenly the planting scheme works really well for an entirely different reason than expected/planned. I have no interest in changing over to these settings, though it'll be worth giving it a spin once publish comes. |

The only drawback is that it strays a bit from the goldentip grassy look of Carne, but by all means give it a spin in those conditions. Oh, should maybe also mention that I wrapped up all on course planting today? All I have left is finishing up the tedium work along the coastline (which I might stream for others to share in my suffering) and any additions to populating the town.
