I love my Xbox series x and my 1 gig internet speed; However I’ve noticed when the course developers have massive water falls, bunkering, trees .. etc. My swing tempo is a crap shoot. But on courses that have less detail. My swing seems more in check. This usually only happens during society play. Offline is way more playable and enjoyable
Will 2k ever get these servers fixed before the next version of this game comes out ?

That detail is bringing your framerates below 60fps coupled with being online and crappy Vsync that is always switched on for Xbox. I have noticed that my tempo is all over the place for 3 and a half rounds today, quit half way through that 3rd round recalibrated and hit more white perfects than the two and a half rounds previously. I don't have the server problem because my framerate doesn't dip below 70 FPS and I use VRR. But why the constant need to recalibrate these last few months.

The series x is by far my best console I ever owned. Everything I play on it game wise/blu ray or streaming runs smooth as silk. It’s just this game that is such a train wreck at times.I guess I can just play it offline solo.Which works great but does it get boring at times.Thank goodness I have so many great other option titles I can play and immerse myself in

The perfomance with gsync is silky smooth, I just adjust 2 graphics settings ultra cloud and sky to high and I hit 70 to 90 in nearly every course. Xbox one controller also, with your problems I think you would be surprised how well the game runs on PC, the series X should run great as you actually have a better GPU than I do . I am running a 12 core AMD R9 3900X and 32 gig of ram but have been stuck with my GTX 1080 because of the current GPU shortage so I am just below the plus 60 fps for my 3440x 1440 ultrawide setup. The game does look fantastic in the cinema ratio as you see so much more of the course.

I’m on PS and have noticed with the new swing changes my tempo is awful on courses with a lot of detail. At first i thought it was coincidental but it’s happening way to much now and I can switch from a heavily designed course to a more basic course and tempo is instantly better...but far from great

Also remember that you can't turn off Vsync on consoles so hitting framerates below the set vsync refresh rate isn't good. Do you play 30hz or 60hz?

Just a question and hope it clears something that is not there.
The last two rounds I've played have been around 10 PM UK time and they, or I should I say, stunk to high heaven. The tempo was all over the place whereas recently I've been finding a bit rhythm with that and could tell if I was playing slow or fast.
But one noticeable difference was the "spinning" times ( that's the game not my head).
Will this be server issue as lots of US folk will be on or is that quite impossible .

after reading your post, I checked my vsync. It was on, set at 60. I decided to cut it off and see if it changed anything.
Cut it off, recalibrated, and my framerate went from 60 up to 90-100. But the stutter when the camera is moving is really bad now.
At first, tempo seemed much more solid. But then the more I played, the worse it got, until the end of my session, it was all over the place again.
Any thoughts?

I run this game with gsync 70 to 90 fps and it runs butter smooth, I mean so smooth even when you fast forward it is seamless. I overclock my monitor from it's native 60hz to 100hz. I dropped it back to it's native 60hz and turned off gsync to do a few tests so you can get it running well on your 3340x1440 monitor. Turn off vsync in game and GPU software, set your resolution in game to 3340x1440 59hz, this is important as you don't exceed your monitors refresh rate like you might by setting it to 3340x1440 60hz. If you are still having problems use nvidia's or amd's software's vsync or even try nividia fast sync if you have a Nvidia GPU. I assume your monitor's refresh rate is 60hz? Let me know how you get on.

JosiaDB Scrap what I said before, the game doesn't cap your framerate and it still felt laggy. Set the game's resolution to your monitor's 3440x1440 60hz. Go into Nvidia's control panal (if I recall you have a GTX 1070) in Manage 3d Setting set max framerate to 55 to 59 FPS. Let me know how you get on, seemed so much better when I tried this. Just make sure vsnc is off, you might get a little screen tearing but is feels smooth and responsive to me and most importantly my tempo was very good.

Had quite a bit of screen tearing. At first I thought tempo was going to be good, but as the match went on, red fasts and slows started appearing from nowhere again.
I'll play with it a bit more tomorrow. I'll let ya know!
