holy moly that looks amazing! Any update on Overhills? I'm helping a guy who is writing a book on it, so I'm going through each hole with him to try to get it right. I wouldn't say that it is very close. I might be able to put out a super half baked beta version at some point just so that you can get a feel for the place. The front nine is almost done, but the back nine is very raw still from an aesthetics perspective. One big challenge there is that the initial greens were sand greens and were very small and without much contour. Then it evolved into grass greens later and then went fallow. So even though the course is sitting in the ground, it is really hard to figure out what to do on the greens. I'm not super comfortable making up Ross greens.

Understand that. Still super excited. Drove by that property a few weeks ago, at least the entrance. Wish like crazy that place had been kept open and made public haha.

Wow, well done. What's your general technique for the native areas? You burying trees or is that a secondary texture?

Wow, well done. What's your general technique for the native areas? You burying trees or is that a secondary texture? For this one, we make the deep rough the primary rough and the regular rough the native area to the outside of it and used texture 5 for it. Then sparsely planted the low lying tan cragley grass on the last page, some of the 3rd flowering grass, and a very spread out golden grass + some of those bush trees every once in a while to cast some shadows. I don't really like the regular rough texture (like Rocket league grass), so I'd rather have it away from play where you can only see the color and not the texture.

Fascinating, thanks for walking me through it. Can't wait to play it.

Really good. Like the alternative rough textures you described.

Do you have a barn on the right side?

Do you have a barn on the right side? I'm not sure what you're referring to- but no barns in there.
