-6 final round to go to -25 for the week. Had tempo issues to start this round so I restarted the game and it played better. Didn't really notice any lag this round either.
Highlight of the round was holing out for eagle on the 8th from the crap down in the valley below the green. The ball bounced once on the green straight into the hole.

I played the first round last night for fun, and the conditions were absolutely brutal for CC. It played much tougher than the Platinum course. Red Fast or not, I don't see why these types of conditions on this course would make sense for a CC event.

I like that it is tougher for a change and not a birdie-fest; we get that almost every week - keeping things interesting imho. Let's put it this way: it is not called "CHALLENGE Circuit" for nothing. Not every round is supposed to be easy and harder tasks can breed growth in skill.

First time I've ever gone four rounds in a row under par. Starting to get the hang of master settings. Putting still lets me down a little. Surprisingly I scored best on day 1 in the wind. And tonight in round 4 I felt like I played the best I have all week but scored worst - that's golf I suppose.
I'm a fan of courses and conditions where scoring is more difficult. I get that everyone wants to knock in lots of birdies, but it's not for me.

sigh.
I was working on one of my best finishes ever. Sitting at -8, and would have been an easy top ten, maybe even a top 3! (CC-K)
4 holes to go, and my wife decides that NOW is the best time to come talk to me about something, and when I said let me finish this, she decides to sit and watch and ask questions and provide commentary.
I love her to death, but totally blew my rhythm and concentration and lost 5 strokes on the last four holes. sigh. lol

I’m starting to get a good feel of playing for perfects. Now granted I did for the most part but never on drives. And with red fasting the drives prior my 2nd shot was never that good as tempo was never a priority as I could scramble for the par or get a birdie on a par 5.
I’m in CC-G...
Rd 1 76 (+6) I made a bag change after round 1 Rd 2 67 (-3) made the cut on last hole with a birdie putt Rd 3 64 (-6) Rd 4 65(-5)
-8 for the tourney.
I’m hitting fairways now with perfects, grey slows, grey fasts and no more hard red fasts or very slows on the drives or if I do it maybe once every 20 drives.....And now my approach shots are smoother as I’m not trying to compensate coming off of red fasts like I used to prior to the update.
I know the pitch shot has been a problem for people after the update. I’m just trying to get more repetitions on the range and that Wind 1.0 course.

Red Fast or not, I don't see why these types of conditions on this course would make sense for a CC event. Rd 1 in CC for me was 76 Rd 1 in Plat was Even Par.....and I left a lot on the table with missed putts. I figured out my tempo in the last 3 in CC with -3, -6,-5 In Plat Rd 1 Even Rd 2 -3 Rd 3 currently -4 through 4 with 4 straight birds to open the round snd I had to go to dinner.....now my rhythm will be shot and I’ll crash and burn when I return to play and finish. But CC course was so much more stressful.

Haven't finished in the top 40 in months. Out of nowhere this week with the win.
EDIT: So I thought yesterday was Saturday for some reason, still one person who could theoretically overtake me, but feeling pretty good about my position still.
