After finishing the initial qschool 70 shots (yes 70!!) behind the main man Scott Doyley im really happy with my progress 15 weeks later, currently sitting 1 ahead and just a couple of shots back of world number 1 and 2 in this weeks euro. So basically without blowing my own trumpet im really happy and just wondered who else has had such a leap forward? love to a hear a good fairytale story...

I finished Q-School, 42 shots behind Doyley, but I subsequently went on to win the first Euro TGCT tournament, plus I have managed to win another as well since then.
Well played daddyjules, and to all who have made improvements to there game over the past few months.
Good luck all and Happy Golfing.

Finished QSchool January at -8 and placed on the Web.com. Fortunate enough to earn one of the first exemptions for week 3 and jumped up to the Euro Tour and played the weekend there to secure my card. Have 2 top 10s and a few top 30 finishes. Missed 3 cuts and have played the PGA Tour 3 times for 3made cuts with a top 10 in The Masters to boot

3 weeks ago I’d have been delighted - from + 5 through Q School (more through lack of prep than lack of talent but still) and just scraping a Euro Tour Card to 51st in the world.
Had a little blip over the last few weeks, poor form combined with some PS4 performance issues have seen me miss 2 cuts out of the last 3 and drop out of the top 70.
Had a better week at Yeti which will hopefully be the start of my push back towards the top 50. Will be a challenge though, some guys who were around/behind me in the rankings have really stepped it up in the last few weeks (simo being a prime example) and the standard/depth is getting ever higher.

My Q School score was +68. Not 68 shots behind Doyley... 68 shots over par. In that " A TGC Tours World of Stats" thread, I was the highest Q School score by some margin of anyone inside the WGR top 150 (which I was at the time), and the second highest of anyone in the WGR top 200. Started on Champions Tour, did 2 tournaments before getting a sponsors exemption that let me move to Web.com. Three tournaments on Web.com, to get my sponsors exemption that let me move to the European Tour. After 7 tournaments on the Euro Tour now, I have made 6 of 7 cuts. Just trying to get a little better and a little more consistent every week.

Nice to hear some of the massive improvements othefs have had. Which in turn would have to mean some people who started off well have gone the other way.
Also finished Q-school +5 and scraped on the euro tour. Steadily improved week by week since then. Even managed a few wins on tour, my highlight was the WGC at doral. Also managed to set 18,36,54,72 hole records on the euro tour. Just a shame the records were not a score closer to real life.

I shot a perfectly fine -12 during Q-School, but I haven't improved at all. I seem to be always hovering around the cut line.

This is great to read. I just recently got the game and was doing pretty decent. Then found out about this and joined. Now I don't feel as bad that i'm doing pretty poorly after the 1st two rounds in Q-School.

After finishing top 10 Q-school, I didn't fare well my first 10 tournaments...but I've been making all cuts lately and have a 2nd place on PGA Tour, and another top10 this week, so I'm climbing back up.

Don't get discouraged, and get yourself through it. Believe it or not, it actually gets easier after that.

Believe it or not, it actually gets easier after that. Very much this. I was +49 in Q-school, very early in my time with TGC. Played a couple of Champs Tour events and did well enough to grab an exemption to the Web Tour. Been holding my own here (bar a slump which saw me miss 3 consecutive cuts a few weeks ago) and even had one visit to the Euro Tour.
