We are looking for all opinions. What to know your thoughts on the society so far as well as your thoughts on if we changed the society to pro settings? Will the guys who are shooting well on master still enjoy it? Will those not playing well find more enjoyment? Will it make you more or less likely to play next season? What if we did pro with no scout cam to add challenge? What if we tested one week just to see everyone thoughts? Just thoughts and would love your thoughts!! I prefer Master myself, but I would probably stick around. I suggest you add a poll. I'd prefer switching to Pro myself! Been playing alt shot matches with friends on Pro settings and find having proper misses way more enjoyable given the changes. But I'll probably keep playing either way!

Wow what a week!! Who picked that course and those settings. Lol Only 10 people shot under par and we had 3 teams have no one break par. Looks like hoping for help was the only team to show up for the major. The rest of us were still dealing with major jet lag. Speaking of a jets let's jump back on one and now we are headed to South Africa where I'm sure OldManGaming606 will lead us on a big game expedition and there will be plenty of wine to go around for the next 3 weeks. The question is who can keep sober enough to play golf. Our first tournament will be at Limpopo Reserve not a very fancy course but will do the job. Round 1 we are playing from the back tees approx 7400 yds but with reachable par 5s and 2 reachable par 4s. That is if you take some risk which I take zero risk anymore. Lol. However low winds and firm conditions should help with the length a bit. Round 2 we had some rare rain come thru last night which will soften the course a bit therefore we bumped up the teams to help compensate. Expect a steady breeze from the west. It should be a good week. Good luck and have fun!!

Master is not fun anymore. And you can customize the settings to make it harder than default pro settings. Also definitely not a fan of the no scout camera thing.

ASSMAN’S HOT TAKE Week 4 (MAJOR) Review
Before I get into this week’s ass take we plan on seeing who would be interested in a change to pro swing difficulty for next season. There will either be a poll or vote coming up shortly so pay attention and if you plan on leaving or staying after that no worries just let us know. We hope to keep everyone around and see how this goes. We have a draft style coming up For next season as well which will even up teams. Details are being sorted.
Now, without further a poo, what a great major showing. We had 11 people finish under par this week. For the 4th week in a row Hoping For Help had all 4 players under par (great job lads, plan on seeing different teammates next season lol). Mr Moore and Mr Beaz had the top two rounds as More Killah Chinese Kids try to take the top spot before the season ends. Also, free agent Craig, we see you shooting extremely well out there, you are noticed sir.
JMUkid holed out from 156 yds on hole 14 (care to share that moment with the class)? Savagegolfer nailed a 81.4ft putt on hole 17. Alan led the field in the long ball and FIR (he must be on the Bryson 8 protein shakes a day)
There’s some right races going on, and remember the season continues until a team ends it with 2000 points (not swings Digs) so keep racin boys. Good luck next week and keep spirits high as we head for playoffs
WEEK 4 POWER RANKINGS 1. Hoping for Help 2. More Killah Chinese Kids 3. FORE Skins 4. Red Fast Rehab 5. Dementia Residents Golden Four 6. LEAK 7. Shake and Bakeodils 8. Weapons of Grass Destruction

Truely the first team to 2000 points or the highest point total at the end of the match once someone reaches 2000? For example Team 1's top scorer shoots say -16 (88 points) which pushes Team 1 over 2000, But then Players B, and C for Team 2 outscore Players B and C and Team 1 and ends up with more points than Team 1 even though Team 1 was the "first" to 2000. LOL. Am I getting too technical?

If after week #8 there are two teams over 2000, the highest will be the winner and the season stops and the play off begin. Example: Team 1... 2099 points total Team 2... 2100 points total Team 2 is the regular season champ and is seeded #1 for play offs Make sense?

Welp....this week I birdied the first two holes with perfects, par on the 3rd hole....and 3 waterballs on the 4th hole. Packed it up and called it a day. Proceed to play the second round and found more water than Moses. Not a profitable week for me.
As for how this society is going....I think you all are doing a good job. Courses seem good for the most part, just sometimes the swing just doesn't want to cooperate. If you are thinking of making changes for next season to pro difficulty that is fine with me. I will play in the society no matter which direction you go. I have heard a couple of different scenario's floated about in terms of changes. Anything without the swing timing on is simply silly. It doesn't matter how shitty your swing is you will get the full intent of the shot selected. For me, that is like being on PS4/5 without being on PS4/5 and that is just not going to fly.
In terms of changing to pro difficulty, my own opinion is its alot easier to get a white/grey result, obviously. I messed around with it tonight for longer than I care to admit and found it very rare to get a red anything, even when purposely trying for it. I did not really care for that at all. Under the current master settings the overwhelming feeling is you either get a perfect shot on your target if you played your cards correctly, or a red swing which acts like a penalty stroke. It goes without saying this can get old pretty quickly. From what I seen under the pro version is now a vast majority of your swings are all in play. The only difference is you are exchanging the reduction of distance for the red swing for the increased distance of the grey swing. I am sure there are even more benefits with less reds in the short game, which I didnt think I needed to test. Obviously scores will go down. People will be less pissed off two minutes into their round. I get all of that. At the end of the day if I am currently finishing 14 shots behind the leader under masters, I am still finishing 14 shots or more behind the leader, I just have a few more birdies and less bogies + on my scorecard for my efforts on pro.

Like rhino i tried pro (for 2 rds). I had 1 red slow swing no red fasts. If you go with pro next season there are ways to make it a bit tougher like no scout cam etc... But i am sure you know that. whatever you do its a good society & something different so i will keep playing.

I have tried both pro and legendary (without tempo),I prefer the legendary setting as it is slightly more difficult in my opinion. I think with all the fuss about masters it only really annoys me when we are playing the courses with a lot of water or 500 yard par 4’s into the wind, as well as tricked up greens. I don’t mind getting a bogey, as I know I will have an opportunity to try for a birdie, but it is when I have to try and claw back a quadruple or more because my swing has developed two minutes of tempo Tourette’s that’s when I can quite happily bin the game.

Here is a thought in thinking about season two. I mentioned this in Band of Brothers, but it may be better suited here. Instead of switching to Pro, and instead of taking the top 3 scores amongst the four members, how about we count all four players scores, BUT, everyone gets their best score between the two rounds. Just a thought.
