17 and 18th stole 6 shot from me still happy cause my tempo was spot on except for those freakin holes both rounds....even laid up on 18th 2nd round and offcorse hit a solid red fast approach right in the drink i jumped down and found it cause that ball need some spanking... If I threw moneyman in the drink would he get the same punishment? I give you his reply to that.....  |

Are we supposed to share our scorecards? How is the stableford system being used if the tournaments are set for stroke? Its always a good thing to read page 1  |

The society are using their own modified stableford scoring, where you start from a basis of 36 points, because a stableford score of par for every hole will score you 36 points. For every shot you are under par, you add one to your score, for every shot over you take 1 point away, for example if you finish -5, your score will be 41 points, if you finish +2, your score will be 34

Still not sure.... Maybe an answer? Or show me what I'm missing? Im not a smart person I believe taffman gave a good answer to this. You can not have a stableford society in game. So we are using the same system as the game except we added negative points for scores worse than double bogey making it work just as taffman explained. Also in the original post the stableford scoring is listed as well as the spreadsheet link for when we start posting scores. |

I think there might be some small flaws
For instance, using the scoring format in the original post
If I shot
Par, par, birdie, par triple, birdie, birdie, eagle, bogey. I am -1 par with 17 points.... Followed by
Eagle, eagle, birdie, par, quad, birdie, par, bogey, par I shoot another -1 par but this time it's 19 points.
Total of 36 points which is what your base of E par would be ... Even though I finished -2 which you said would be 38 points

The triple bogie is only a -1, and the bogey is actually a +1. |

Roller coaster rounds this week. Tempo for the most part was decent minus a few RF pitches. I had a -12 to the good side of things but I think 8 holes or so took all of that away. Really enjoyed the course for the most part although that water + Xbox + tempo got me a few times.

-9, -10 for -19 overall to start things off. Pretty happy with how I played. Found a good time today where tempo was locked in. Had B2B eagles in R2!

Though sounds like it would be fun - it is also predictable - the teams grouped up with the better players will dominate I'm mid-avg player - so really no chance to win anything. Would just add to the frustration I've already got with the game as of late - which is why I haven't really been as active lately. Just going through the motions most weeks. With that said... IF you're short a player to round out a team, you can add me to the availability list. GT in my sig below... As mentioned, teams will be evened out. Season 1 is a welcome season so have fun with it and fight for where you think you might be challenged for. We want to see how this season goes before determining how to split everyone for next season if that comes to it . I requested to join just need someone to accept when they get a chance |
