Definitely something going on behind the scenes recently. At certain times over the last few days I haven't been able to hit a perfect for rounds at a time (even when taking honest to god about 100 practice swings) and got completely different polling points than I normally get, literally very fast or red slow with nothing in between . Then played a round just now and didn't get a single red anything, just perfects and greys. I’ve seen this term “polling points” in many posts in different forums here; usually when talking about swing tempo. I’ve seen some mention that there are so many more “polling points” using an Xbox controller vs a PS controller. Can you explain in layman’s what exactly are these “polling points”? Thanks.

It’s the other way round PS controller has more polling points than Xbox because the PS communicates at 250hz the Xbox at 125hz

Well... Miracles do happen... 2 consecutive rounds under par.
Front 9 1st round was steady, 2 birdies 7 pars... Back 9 of Round 2 was again steady and consistent with 3 birdies 6 pars... But the middle 18 holes were amazing... Only 1 par... 7 bogeys, an Eagle and 9 birdies...
I thought I had a chance at Jason and -12, but those middle holes, especially the Front 9 of R2 where I went birdie then Bogey for 8 straight holes, killed my chance... Disappointed I never got to my best BoB score of -10... But im playing better golf

I requested to join the society. I understand if I've missed the start of this season and have no problem with just playing alongside everyone.

So i have discovered what my issue is that has prevented me from becoming (IMO) a very decent player throughout all the TGC Games but especially this one. It ultimately comes down to my swimg plane. No matter the clubs, i CANNOT keep a consistent straight swing path (within the white line) no matter the shot type or clubs but especially the putter ! Just about every putter swing i take starts at 4-5 o'clock and goes up white path and finishes about 10-11 o'clock posistion. I very rarely get a nice straight swing right in the middle from start to finish. I have tried multiple controllers and same result. Many different grips as well. I just cant get it down. I feel like i have my timing right where i want it. The swing path is costing me many strokes especially with the flatstick

I had a similar issue with a blue ps4 controller. From day to day, I would have to tilt the controller left or right to try and get my swing path more on line. Wasn't a fix, but it helped. With putting, I couldn't find anything to help. I'd get lines that had me looking at my controller questioning how that was possible. Since I had bought an XSX, and was down to playing only 2 games on PS, I just moved over to playing this game on XSX. So I traded swing line/plane and putting issues on ps4 for swing tempo issues on XSX. lol

I requested to join the society. I understand if I've missed the start of this season and have no problem with just playing alongside everyone. Right on.... I will let you in. Week 2 (2 rounder) ends and Week 3 (4 round Major) starts at 8pmEST Monday. If you can squeeze these 2 rounds in before then you will be that much ahead of the game.

In short....and my numbers might not be correct.....a playstation user can hit several areas in the white for perfect. Xbox.....you are getting one. So if you expand from grey left to grey right....playstation guy might get 10 different readings within this area. We do not. YOu will get a perfect, always in the same spot and maybe a grey one side or the other, again, pretty much always in the same spot. To summarize...its either perfect or its a bust.

You joined the Pro Clubs version of Band of Brothers...which is fine. It's accepted. There are only a handful of people playing this. If you wanted to play the Masters version with the rest of us, you will need to join the regular Band of Brothers.

I may try a leftstick swing but i wont do the rubber band hack as its unsportsman like.. I have 2 controllers....one I get much better tempo with, but can't ever hit a straight line putting. The other is a bigger struggle with tempo, but I get perfect planes when putting....so I go with the one that helps putting.
