X-Post I just got the razor v3 now. I loved that the V2 was terrible at swing plane. I used this to load up on my backswing and avoid using tempo while swinging by using the momentum of the stick to give a full swing every time. I did this with putting too until 2K fixed the loophole, which is why I am struggling with putting right now. I finished the first round of the exhibition tournament at +9. I am looking for the loophole in the V3 controller that will allow me to play the game without using tempo. I finished the tournament at +27. I don't use tempo in this game. I look for deficiencies in the controller or the game that will allow me to not use swing timing. That is why my scores are constantly up and down. I don't use full swings when I pitch, putt or chip because the momentum needs to automatically pull these shots through.Broken record here, but you need to stop trying to exploit bugs (which many would call a cheat) and just change your swing to how it's supposed to be used. But, as we all know, you can't change and won't change because this is how you did it with TGC1 and will never change because the developers did something wrong. |

Well one thing I discovered is that you can't be touching the M buttons on the bottom of the V3 controller, this will change your shot if you are touching them! I'm making some progress on the learning curve and finished Demon's society's tournament with a -3 in the last round.

I'm actually overhitting all my putts because I don't know what the actual putting rhythm is. I have always used the exploit where on some controllers you can load up your backswing and have the momentum take your swing through. I have a VERY slow putter take back that is so slow that the putter does not actually move. Then I slam the putter forward at stop it where the putter downswing starts. So all I can do right now is punch the ball at the hole with the putter.

I don't use full swings because incomplete swings are supposed to give me a perfect swing. I do the same things over and over again because they are the KNOWN OUTCOMES. They are things I have learned from year after year of playing this game. For example, it used to be when you hit a chip onto the greenside rough it would give you an extra bounce and come out onto the green. This does not happen any more and I don't understand why. I finished OMG's practice tournament at +26. The ball no longer goes in the hole when you putt either, all hole bite has been lost. I actually don't know how to take a normal full swing, I am learning it for the first time right now.
This is the exact same swing that I could hit -40 on for a tournament with the Razer V2. Nothing has changed now except the controller.

I can hit normal perfect swings now, however it is not consistent. Half my swings are like in the video I posted and half are decent or perfect swings. I have much more trouble with approach shots than off the tee.

Round 2 was a different story having to rush through with lack of time but it was still a fun week on a great track. Nice to see Giraffe72 played this week. Welcome back this week. This week since we have so many guys playing who were not around awhile back I am putting up Sussex Downs by my hero..... digitalbunny I think this will be the 3rd time I have used this track over the course of a few years. Still a classic. Ramping up the elements this week since its a short track, not that it matters to some people. Good luck this week....

What are your touch strategies, especially the players here in Plat? Don't you all have different swings that take advantage of different techniques that allow you to play the game better? Don't you all have different ways that you touch the controller stick? Mine is not using complete swings. I use maximum force in the minimum amount of controller touch possible.
I also don't know where normal players stop their putting swing. My entire putting swing is in the backswing of the putter only. I stopped my putting swing and let momentum carry the putter head through. Now I have to punch the putter through the middle of the swing and overhit my putt.

Mediocre Platinum guy here meunier33 . I use left stick thumb only. Pull back, push forward. On to the next shot. Repeat as much as possible. Hope this helps. |

If the greens are fast 155 or higher, you have to move the marker closer to you so the ball doesn't take off if you miss. And up hill putts you might need to move it back a little on slower greens. It probably would also help to set your putter attribute fittings for putt weight rather than putt path. That will help you control the distance better. You probably won't take this advice, but still posting since miracles never cease. |

I changed it to weight 85 path 77 |
