Then why’re you still here and playing? I could have done better than Even this week if it was possible to keep the ball on the green. I play by known outcomes. I shoot and putt by how the ball should react hitting the green on a course with default standard speeds and settings, as if I was playing ranked matchups. For example I scratched my head this entire tourney wondering how there was no backspin when I intentionally landed the ball in the fringe above a green. It it is stuck in my head that this power plus this shot plus this wind equals this given result every time. This is why even minor green speed changes bother me. Because I believe I can keep getting better. I've been promoted twice this season already. The thing that REALLY drives me nuts about this game is that 2K tweaks the putting every 3 months and I have to adjust. Better players don't notice that this happens because they are so dialed in.

I kinda wonder if you play by known outcome and can aim for a smal fringe did you ever try to aim for that big hole where the flag is standing shouldnt be a problem for a sniper like you ?

If you land on the fringe and not the green it takes the spin off of it... you need to land on the green to get full spin. Plus you do realize greens can have different firmness? The firmer the green the harder the ball is going to land with less spin. It seems you might need to factor more things in when you are calculating your shots.

Were the pins the same for both rounds?? I feel like I played the same pin for both rounds.

I found the greens to be pretty tame this week with medium/med-fast speeds at 144/155 - had no problems sticking them.. Didn't notice the pins being the same though, maybe they were just similar ??

Hi Rhino, Sorry but I'm going to drop out, lost interest in the game. Thanks for letting me join a great Society and continued success with it.

Does anyone here use spin control, the thing that is to the right of loft? I have never used it in the 10 year history of the game. In fact I have no idea how to access it even. I'm not sure how it can help you. I didn't even know this feture existed until I watched a Kawkster video right now.

You hold the RB button and 2 bars will appear, the one on the left affects the loft of the club, so the further down you go on the left thumbstixk the higher the shot, but your distance will lessen, go up and the opposite effect will happen.
The bar on the right is for spin, the lower you go with the right thumbs tick, the more backapin is applied to the ball, and the opposite effect to if you go up on the ball.
A small movement can affect the ball massively so play around with it on the range to get an idea if what it does... Really useful for chips and pitches
