So that was you I played with that day Les 🤔🤣 After 6 holes of the round with him I understood why he didn’t qualify for the open he was a big hitter but really wild with the driver he hardly hit a fairway. So if you want to admit it was you Ross then 🤣🤣 Sounds exactly like me mate 👍🏼 🤣 |

Calling all BOB players! I currently have 2 available spots for our upcoming NFL Fantasy league. Drafting Sunday 10:30 UK 5:30 EST. Only real rule is you have to play out the season no matter how you are doing. If interested pm me. I have people who could fill the spots but would rather recruit from here first.

Any ryder cup in the near future ? I had this conversation with some people a couple weeks ago. I think it would be a good idea to have 2 team competitions a year: a traditional USA vs. Europe/World Ryder Cup and another event based on some other factor, like the Battle of the Ages (over-40s vs. under-40s) we did a few seasons ago. Since the Ryder Cup was in early April, as I recall, then it would make sense to conduct this other cup in about a month. That said, it all depends on interest; I know my enthusiasm for the game right now is about the highest it's been in years, but I get the sense that isn't the case for everyone. I would be willing to commit some time to the admin needed to get this event off the ground. As far as ideas go, maybe we could do something that splits up the established BoB pairs? For instance, if a team drafted either Craig or Paul from the Taffodils, then the other team would automatically be given the remaining one, and the Taffodils would have to go head-to-head in the singles matches. Someone can probably come up with a better idea/theme, preferably one that would generate team compositions quite different from those we see in the Ryder Cup. Let me know what you think! If there's enough interest, I'd love to help make this happen. |

My free time these days is little, would have to pull of a miracle to do it. As of now I will say no. Things can change. I will check back to see how many are into it. |
