It was OK, I mean Dave clearly Overhit it and had his math all wrong. Good thing that Green was sloped to make it roll right in though, what are we playing miniature golf?

Random stat / Question of the daySince Band of Brothers started, there has been 284 rounds completed over the 9 seasons ... only 5 out of the 109 individuals who have posted a score in any season, have completed 95% of those rounds, a minimum of 270 / 284 .. can people work out who the 5 people are .. also only 1 person has played every single one of those rounds .... will give the answers to whom this is later on after I have had some sleep as it has just gone 1:30am here I believe I am one of them ?? me, you, David, Demon, Chief

Again, Paul pleases us with some stat porn. I'd love to see a list of participation percentages. Not exactly sure but i probably haven't missed a week ever since i joined - was late to the party though. All credit goes to Craig and Mark who introduced me to this fabolous bunch. If i needed to decide between this and TGC Tours, no offense to the Tours, but i'd always pick this society. Will look at something like that to add to my Overall BoB average sheet

Funny Smijti I was thinking recently I can't remember how we first got chatting. Might have been on the CC board in game or something. Obligatory: try the razer in the off-season! I remember getting a dm on the Xbox by that Craigh-guy one day. Didn't even play TGC Tours back then, just my daily routine of the historic and fantasy 1 rounders and a couple others. Your name was grinning at me from every freaking leaderboard and i tried to keep pace - mostly to no avail. Surely i never look back and regret my decision to stop playing career mode only and start playing online societies, because of all the great people i met along the way. Razer is plugged in and ready for action. Not enough confidence and consistency to use it as my go-to controller in rounds that count though - still in the midst of a process which really is putting my patience to the test. Anybody who has seen me play and shoot a round in probably less than 15 minutes can confirm that i'm most likely destined to fail. The expense of 84 euros bothers me so much, which is the only thing about the controller that keeps me from giving up on it and putting it on the shelf to rot.

What you’ve got to remember is that none of us told you the Razer was the answer to all your problems it’s not but it’s a whole lot better than the wireless xbox controllers wether that’s an original or an elite. For me personally gone are the black very fasts out of nowhere especially when you have water on the left as a right hander or the black very slows when there’s out of bounds on the right. My tempo is usually just to the left of the white perfect zone giving a fast but occasionally I get a few grey slows if I get to many of those I just pull the marker back towards me to shift the tempo to the left towards the perfect zone. I’m thinking a lot more during my rounds now rather than just aiming straight and not knowing for sure where it’s going if the pins on the left I try drawing the ball into the pin if it’s on the right I try hitting a fade which is exactly how a pro approach’s pins on the course as it’s usually the percentage shot. It’s just requires practice I spent a good few hours on the range with the Razer seeing what my general shot traits are, I hit predominantly fast so tend to aim either straight or just a hair left of the flag because my swing plane is a push which means my ball starts right of the stick but comes back with the fast swing. I probably hit that shot 95% of the time.

You're right it was fantasy and historic. Think I was scouting for a teammate 🤣 mad how fast time flies that must be almost 3 years and 500 uninstalls ago! Mate my advice is just make the switch even in the rounds that count. You know when I got it I felt like I had to nearly break the thing to not get a slow, had to change thumbs because my left doesn't move that quick, relearn how to move my other thumb straight (ffs) and it's finally clicked to the point I'm fighting against fasts now. But I think to get there you need to go all in and unlearn what worked before.

I have a 3 day weekend this week Sat-Mon. Look for me for some live matches. Except for Sat AM as I may be whooped after 3 hour bike ride.

That’s what I was like when I first used the Razer Craig I had to push through so fast I was worried I might break my thumb or the controller but now it feels normal
