Fellow BoB member longpole has just published what I think is his debut course. Passion of Essex. Give it a play or 2. For a first publish it is very well done. I've also put it in my society The Big Money this week. Two rounds. I'll be playing it with green Grids on....and maybe lie Grids and any other aid I can think of....all in honor of Neil. Don't forget putt preview! That's his favourite... |

2 stupid bogies on rd1 and a even stupid double on rd2 cost me top 10 after 2 on british open qualifying. Love the course though. Same course many boo-hoo'd about in week two of BoB this current season. Of course TGCT conditions appear to be easier than the second round I put up but this is BoB, its not for Sally's. |

Tables going into Week 11 ALPHA / BRAVO  CHARLIE / DELTA  PAIRS Going into the final regular season game of the pairs competition, most of the top 16 have been confirmed but there are still some places to fight for. WHISKEY Straight shootout between Chalkey / Stunning Dave and Horus / Longpole, winner between them takes top spot. Smijti / Jordan can still grab a spot in the top 16 by beating Subtlebees / Ruhlio, with again winner taking a spot in the last 16 ... lets hope Jordan is back from his hollibobs and got time to get those rounds in as Sir Markus has missed him the past 2 weeks. X-RAY Amazingly, same as Whiskey, its a straight shootout for top spot between Benny / Semsi vs OwenAyy / Cozy2000, winner takes top spot, as if Owen / Cozy win they finish top on the head to read result between them. the rest of the group has been settled, with just Ross / Les and Jamie / Digs deciding where they will finish in the top 16 seeding.
YANKEE
Big win last week for Vegas / BillySastard against the Two Taffs, gives them the head to head result The Taffarinos are hoping for a miracle of biblical proportions that both Beachbabe and WIzzfox turn up and can take Vegas / BillySastard to give them a chance to take the Yankee crown. It's 2 to qualify from 3 for the other teams, Rob / Chief, Lab / Nic and China / Platypus, who play eaach other in a winner takes a top 16 place.

Dave and Jason have ran away with this division and are guaranteed the Zulu win, a straight fight to make in to post season between Ronny / Giz vs Nate / PaulM912.

Greens are over speed. Putting a 5 foot putt on the hole at correct speed should NEVER be off the green at any course setting. This is unacceptable.
A par 3 water hole is never set up so that both high and low clubs will miss the green. This is unacceptable. This course was unacceptable and unplayable in week two and nothing has changed. I finished with a +20.
I've also fully lost my tempo after the last update and can't make complete swings anymore. Something has changed about the swing sensitivity and I can't figure it out.

I'm not usually one to moan about tempo - just the game 😂 - but I swear since the last update I've had the weirdest thing happen.
Using the left stick (which I've only ever used for these games) everything is very slow. And I mean every shot is right at the very edge of the very slow. As slow as you can get. Even if I take practice swing after practice swing and try for a very fast it doesn't budge. I wanted to play true sim tour this week because I really like Loch Lomond and I think I was on the first green in six shots.
Don't know why but something made me try the right stick and voila, back to normal and shot under par in that True Sim Legend Swing society. I have absolutely no idea whether it's the game, the controller or what but the controller seems absolutely fine on all other games. It's the weirdest thing.
Hopefully won't be an issue for any longer because the Razer arrives tomorrow / Friday but I can't get my head around that at all unless the stick is just done in on my series X launch controller and it's only noticeable on this game given the nature of it.

I use RS only though. I think there is now a requirement for longer swings. I normally use a short but very violent backswing and I think with the last update this technique has been taken out of the game. The entry and speed requirements for making a putt also seem to have gotten more difficult.

I used to get that if I was playing the game in Quick Resume, so I always quit the game and load it from scratch and that helped me... Also when the pad arrives, calibrate, calibrate ans calibrate... You will be hitting 2pm very slows right from the start, so calibrate, hit 10 or so balls, calibrate again and see how it feels... Think I did it 2 or 3 times to get a swing I was happy with |

Just the left analogue being in a different position totally killed me there. Looking forward to it arriving now. |

I was in an alt shot with Darny tonight and he's got exactly the same issue - he's on Playstation btw. Seems very odd that i pick up the exact same thing from two players the same day. Scott (ElderGr8One) was saying that his tempo feels different as well. And fwiw we couldn't finish our alt shot match because the game kept crashing; about 7th hole was the furthest we got. Something is clearly a miss with this game since the last update. Feels that it gets worse with each one. |

I don't even know when the last update was. They are all worthless. Takes forever loading the round you want to play in society plays now though. Lord have mercy.
