We're playing the Scottish Open at blummin' Pinehurst on the Elite Tour this week. Glad I can rely on BOB to give me my links fix! Disgrace I mean yeah. It's actually been my first look at Pinehurst and I've really enjoyed the course but that's not the point. You can't tell me there isn't a good user designed links course out there for the Scottish Open?! |

Edit: Donald Ross-Course Designer, born in Dornoch, Scotland. Maybe that's the connection. |

Anyway, it’s still an honour to be mentioned in one of your chapters, a self proclaimed ‘Poundland’ Ricky Gervais does not do you enough credit. I like to think of you as an equally talented version of Scott Fitzgerald, just a little more crass on a Friday night. You know he’d be down at the finest jazz bar in the centre of Paris talking about philosophy and planning his next chapter of 'The Great Gatsby', whereas our classy digs stays in playing virtual golf trying to convince us that there is something about Liz Truss and she’d be an animal in the bedroom. Maybe you are speaking from experience, but I’m still struggling to see it myself. Your write-ups are pure genius mate. Great read/laugh each week. Anyway i wish too announce my retirement from.xbox really. I just do not enjoy it anymore. But before i leave i would like to give my awards. So here goes..please do not take offence its all in good fun.. Best xbox player without a doubt Pierce no 11 in the world on xbox a phenom..(wanted to put one of my best mates benny here but have to be true). Also massive shout to Brandon, Mark, Peter(billy) hope thats right, me old mate Demon who doesn't believe he belongs there but he does. Enough of that elitist nonsense. Person who likes most post. Fresh start to real golf this morning at Claremont in Tassie. 2 degrees with a rather fresh wind. Still another beautiful day in Tasmania. 😎  Tasmania looks like a piece of heaven on earth. You're a lucky man Ross. When is the BoB tour getting an invite to your home course down there? |

Food for thought for next season..... I will review who is getting axed from teams play and see what is left but there are too many DNFs by the same people and a few people who have stopped playing during this season for one reason or another. Is what it is. If there is not a viable number to do teams play I will look into doing individual matches with handicaps. Like teams play this could end up being alot of fun to tinker with. Still playing around with this idea so if you have interest in either side event next or want to drop out, feel free to let me know. The teams play is fine, I love it. I'd like it if it was played a bit different somehow ( how I dont know ). The other thing is... I'm so tired of losing by freaking less than a stroke lol. Its so annoying. |
