Welp...it finally happened. How about a big round of applause for moneyman273 busting that cherry. Another close shave by a Razor. Too bad I was not Twitch recording this. The natural reaction was priceless. Oh I'll give you all the reaction. Just like it was at Ryder Cup when I holed out from the thick cabbage 91 yards away........ There's SOMETHING on my fittings or skill points that has always made my green speeds a smidge higher than everyone else. What it is, I have zero clue. In Skills. Putter. Column 7. 'For Dough'. Make sure you don't have it on Level 1 as this gives you a permanent 'Roll' boost which increases Green Speed. Instead Move it to Level 2 which gives you a permanent Putt Weight boost instead.
Also, Putter. Column 5. 'Greenskeeper'. Make sure you have no points in this one as this gives you a temporary Roll boost (increases Green Speed) when you miss two Greens in Reg. It then deactivates again when you score 1/2 pars etc.
Noted. I'll check both of these assets as my skill points were utilized without me completely understanding how they all affected my game. Thank you Kie! |

Greatly appreciate it fellas. It was just a local match Dave rhino4life and I were playing last night, not society based or anything. I played a full round on the Razer, he listened to my explanation as to how I was swinging. Very interesting to hear that he uses the thumb at 6:00 and the index finger at 12:00 (like he's pinching the left stick). He helped me with timing by simply explaining what he does. I tried that and while it was "better" than the two thumb method, I still wanted to figure out the left thumb only, left stick method. So what did I do? I put the left thumb at 6:00 rather than the entire thumb on the middle of the swing stick. GREATLY improved swing line and those incessant moments of 10 "practice" swings where my timing was off as Giraffe72 indicated I probably was. (as you all saw, I had the downswing occur four times before it actually registered on swing 5. Annoying still but I will continue to work at it). Fired a -8 on what I'd say a somewhat easy course. That being said, I think I'm over the hump a bit and will give the Razer a go. Thanks again for the help Dave. |

I place my thumb on the bottom half of the analogue nub instead of in the centre of it as I feel like I'm under swinging othwrwise |

It appears I have a good shot a taking home CC-A trophy. A 3 stroke lead thru 4 rds. There are 3 guys who haven't teed off since cut that may take me down. Judging my company on xbox's society with all of BoB's top pros I may stand a chance. Worst case I will be promoted to Kinetic.
