Band of Brothers Alt shot tourney coming soon!!! I will facilitate the tourney and it will be a round robin into knockout rounds to determine a champion team. More details will be provided in a separate thread soon.
You can pick any partner for this event, no handicaps, straight up head to head competition. 4 teams have been announced as of this post, looking for a minimum of 12 teams upwards of 20-24 teams.

Looking forward to how the HoneyBadgerHacker course Blackdown Hills fairs in the finals. This was one of the finalist courses for the recently concluded Ryder Cup so it will off some challenge (I hope) to everyone still playing for something and also those trying to regain some momentum for season ten. There will be a variety of winds and green speed changes for this major event so let the chips fall where they may. Titles up for grabs this week:Alpha: chalkey84 - 6864.17 horusphoenix - 6763.96 Bravo:migbgolf - 7235.42 asyoudo64 - 7224.17 Charlie:xcltaff1980 - 6543.13 justjordannnnn - 6095.00 Delta: rhino4life - 6618.75 liebs44 - 6280.00 Team Championship:2 CHALKEY / STUNNING 8 SMITJI / JORDAN +13.46 Now for some next season news. Individual play will be the same. People will be shuffled up or down based on finish this season. Those who joined during the season will be placed based on scoring average you have accumulated thus far. Team play will be drastically. There are 24 teams spread into 4 different divisions which placement was decided by total handicap score. So the best six teams (scoring-wise) are all grouped into one division, the teams ranked 7th through 12 are in the next division and so on. The regular season will consist of 10 weeks which you will play all five teams in your own division and five teams in another division. For THIS season the top division will play 5 teams from division 3 and division 2 will play against division 4. Not that you need to worry yourselves with this but the scheduling format I will utilize is likely 1 inside the division, then 2 outside, 1 inside, and then 3 outside. The last 3 weeks will all be division matches.. At the end of the 10th week the bottom two teams in each division will be eliminated from contention in the winners bracket and play their own playoff to finish the season. The top four teams in each division will play through a 5 week knockout stage. The hopes of this arrangement is to create some rivalries and with the handicapping system at least half of your season should be around a straight up match. I would also like to move 1 team up or down based on finish but we'll see how this works out. Team breakers will be based on head to head records and or common opponents W/L. The divisions will utilize the end of the phonetic alphabet.
