Okay...after playing around with the Wolverine here are my initial thoughts.
The feel and comfort of the controller is spot on.
The net result of a perfect or near perfect requires a quicker transition to your downswing if you want good results. I was using my current, shitty swing on this new pad and it was constant slows to very slows and I was like FU Ross!!! After playing around with it some more I found that when I started my downswing as the club was still going towards it apex, I seemed to find what is to be the tempo for the desired result. This is awesome for me personally because for the last two iterations of this my biggest downfall was extreme fast to very fast.
The different club types require a quick transition from backswing to downswing.
The different swing modes (pitch, flop, splash, ect) also require a quicker transition from backswing to downswing as well.
Seeing more poling points.

Played four rounds at Payne's Valley with two rounds on each pad.
Old pad -1 E
Razor -7 -8
Based only on normal shots driver/irons I had 6-8 extreme grey or black tempo on the old pad. I had 2 or 3 on the razor which is likely the primary difference in the scores.
Not every swing tempo is a perfect for me... far from it. Honestly, i am not sure i got any more perfects from one pad to the other. Its the few extra poling points for slight misses from perfect that are difference maker.
As mentioned before, swing plane is the trade off but for me personally the extra swing results I get I will gladly accept.
Small sample size but I really like what I am seeing so far.

Try pulling the aim marker as far back as it will go that will slow your backswing down so you will need to wait for your swing to reach 100% then push forward as fast as you like. |

It seems to give seven polling points, a revelation to me after the Xbox controller, and so is more forgiving - It isn't all or nothing. Swing plane is its only slight weakness but I'm getting there on that score too. I think you should calibrate hitting ten shots at the tempo you like, and then use Les' suggestion of bringing back the marker a little if you find you are still getting slight slows. |

I’ve used the in game calibration and can’t see much difference, pulling the aim marker back slows your backswing but it also means you don’t have to push forward as fast to get your desired result. |
