How much is the wolverine v2 boys , I've had a look , one is 74 pound and the other is 149 , would like to know which one you are referring 2 , cheers This is the one I use Neil. It would be the 74 pound one. The other is the chroma. It is more for more complicated games, COD etc. For 2K23, the V2 is all you need.  So anybody compared it with Elite x/s V2 its much cheaper so i might buy it to my control collection 😂😂😂 |

For a true test I will see if this works. If it doesn't and I find out a bunch of you are Wolverine Controller Reps, I will be swinging the ban hammer.

It feels smooth in use as well Ron |

Jeez when i buy this i will have spent more on controllers than i did on the console 🤣🤣🤣🤣 It’s more or less made me competitive with most PS players and I wasn’t at the likes of Ron’s standard he was always a good few strokes a round better than me. Since I started playing with the wolverine I’ve gone from CC-J up to A if that doesn’t show an improvement I don’t know what does. I’m still no where near the standard of the top PS, Xbox or PC players but I’m a lot closer than I was. |

It bugs me that HB can’t create a game that has a level playing field across platforms and yes I know it’s down to communications between controllers and their respective consoles but I would have thought they could have compensated for that using software. Maybe they just need to take another look at it, I also think thats one reason HB/2K introduced skills which essentially do some of the work for you in giving you better tempo or swing plane then add fittings to the mix to improve it further

It certainly does Peter. You won't get perfects all the time, but it limits the damage. Once you get a feel for a comfortable swing, it is very repeatable. For me it's a slight slow that gives me a nice fade. I can hit a perfect when I need to, but I fade the ball IRL, so I like playing for that in 2K23 as well. Les has another method which he might share with you if required. I hit a slight fade 95% of the time as well but if I pull the aim marker back towards the golfer a little and that has the effect of moving my poling point left towards the white segment giving me less fade and more perfects. If I flick the stick through very fast which I do occasionally I never get any more than a grey fast in the middle of the grey zone. I’ve not had a very fast swing or a very slow swing since I started using it. It’s the way forward for Xbox golfers. I play Xbox series x on my big TV but the series x is on the other side of the room so I bought a usb extension lead so I don’t have the controller wire trailing across the living room floor. I could get away with playing the fade like Ross does but I’ve always preferred a slight draw flight and this does it for me most of the time. I’ve also just noticed that I’ve been playing the game in cinema picture mode on my Samsung TV and switched to game mode which cuts down screen lag to about 12ms and that’s also improved it a little more so pitching chipping and putting. Thanks Les, I guess I'll have to see what suits me when I get it but it certainly all sounds good to me. |
