Well that was fast! I submitted my course @ 9 am this morning and @ 11 am my course was not approved. LOL! Dear Koop:
Thank you for submitting your course, Golden Acres, to TGC Tours. While we appreciate you showing interest in having your course as a part of our database, we have regretfully decided to "Not Approve" it for not meeting the standard we require before approving a course. While a non-approval can be based on any number of large issues, courses are usually marked as non-approved if there is a significant culmination of smaller ones, such as overly constricted landing areas, poor bunkering, extreme elevation changes, or unplayable, heavily sloping greens. Additionally, courses will virtually always be mark non-approved if they feature auto-generated fairways, rough, greens, and bunkers.
Oh well, c'est la vie Thanks to everyone who has played Golden Arces.... an unworthy course. HA! Are you interested in their reasoning for the decision? Having played some of the pro events, I didn't think there was such a thing as "unplayable heavily sloped greens". 🤣😉 Shame they don't tell you why your course was rejected so you know what to address to either resubmit or for future courses you consider submitting.

There is a thread just for this. I questioned one of mine a few years back and they told me transition of FW into green wasn't up to standard. They said it was close to being accepted. Felt criticism was legit. Edit: I saw Koop had questioned in the not accepted thread. And the answer is kind of strange for it not to be accepted. I have played plenty of real courses where you can have poor sight lines. If it is a course I never played I buy a yardage book (played it a second time you have course knowledge). In this game you have scout button. If you don't use scout feature you can press the B button and view yardage book picture. I have a course Buchanan Reserve which has a lot of blind shots and it was accepted. Google maps Cedarwood Country Club in Charlotte NC 6th hole where you can't see lake from tee box.

Greyfrair is the course this week that was published recently by grovey31 . For those who played this past Friday in alt+shot should be familiar with the track. Fantastic layout with alot of yardage to navigate in comparison to weeks past. Conditions will be mild but there are some tough pins in that second round. Thanks grovey31 for making the fairways extra wide. I finally got my achievement for hitting every FIR in a round. That is a big boy course. Lots of long irons into greens. I enjoyed it.

What has happened to the Intimidators? Chief Banks and xEB50x. Just wondering out loud.

After this season, I would love to do an Alt-Shot Tournament with our Duo Partners. Is anyone else interested?

Was frustrated with my round 1 this week. Thought i played well and couldnt score. Kept at it for round 2 and shot my lowest score ever with a -19 in round 2. Felt really good, especially since the course didnt seem particularly easy. Might not play the game for a bit now so i can savor that one.
