The last regular season two rounder is completed.... Links below should be updated tomorrow sometime. Found myself getting back on track after a horrid result the week before. The second round did not start off well for me but ran through several birdie streaks the last 2/3 of the course to finally get enough strokes to preserve the victory. With majors and playoff coming hopefully I can bottle some of this up and take it with me. This weeks major is a revisit to the Ryder Cup venue that we had back in the CUCC society designed by Hootbleet . On the surface the course does not look to pose much of the threat off the tee but if you dive a little deeper into some of the intricate things done on this course, it may drive you mad. Settings have been recreated from the Ryder Cup event along with the same tees and pins. Those of us who played in that event should remember where the trouble spots were even if things look perfectly safe. It should be a fun event. We are going to end this season with just the two extra weeks planned and the final event being week 17 of this season (ending 8/8). I am tired of waiting around for any news coming out of 2K and if something is announced around the time this season ends or during the following season, we'll just deal with it when the time comes. I know there are a few guys who want into the teams event next season, there are some partner changes I have been made aware of, and I need to trim some of the fat on non-playing players. I would like to trim the teams down to 16 (from 22) but there are 40 players + a half dozen or so new additions this season who have not missed any events. If you want to play teams, I am not going to keep you out. So over the next several weeks keep this in mind and if you want to drop me a message about a new team, or keeping your existing team together or whatever....let me know. There is no rush on this at this point. Speaking of teams.... By my count there are five teams that were secured to be in the top 10 regardless of how this weeks event finishes. Those teams will be awarded a bye week for teams next week. Rhino/Moneyman Berty/Freebird Horus/Longpole Oldman/Liebs Taff/Taffman There are a slew of teams that were in that 7-4 to 6-5 area and I paired up as many of those teams together this week to battle it out for those last few bye spots. A win this weeks does not guarantee you a bye, but it puts you in position for tiebreakers. BCassidy/Sanchez Smijti/Panic OwenAyy/Cozy2000 BMells/Orange EB50/Chief Chinatown/Platypus Demon/Giz Lab/Nicholas This weeks matchups are as follows:BCASSIDY / SANCHEZ XEB50X / CHIEF +17.05 SMIJTI / PANIC CHINATOWN / PLATYPUS +8.60 OWEN AYY / COZY 2000 DEMON / GIZ +6.17 BMELLS / ORANGE LAB / NICHOLAS +12.8 BEACH / ITSJUSTGARY ROSEBOWL / STOWEY +37.69 CHFLACK / NOONAN BERTY / FREEBIRD +14.43 DIGS / GIRAFFE TAFF / TAFFMAN +4.22 HORUS / LONGPOLE RONRUN / CONGOGB +9.82 ASYOUDO / MDH VEGAS / SCOTTL +12.73 BSASTARD / RUHLIO RHINO / MONEYMAN +24.76 OLDMAN / LIEBS ASHUR / PAULM +18.4 I hope to have the last five courses finalized (4 of the 5 are) for the playoffs. It's going to be a gauntlet to navigate so whomever ends up winning this thing has earned every stroke of it. Best of luck this week....

Out of curiosity, isn’t partner playing? Our last two totals equaled my round scores I think lol.

I love this course. It's a good course anyway but also got some fun memories of playing it in various events, obviously especially the Ryder Cup.
First two and a half rounds I was steaming along and up with the leaders. Holed out from 158 on the very first hole and just carried on from there! But then, as always, the wheels fell off. Back 9 of round 3 became a scramble fest but the main damage was done on 17 when I 4-putted for a double. My bogey putt from about 6 feet broke against the beads. I actually played ok in the final round but with zero luck in those pretty tough conditions. 11 pars in a row before I finally picked up a few shots down the stretch. A fun week though. I've been pretty much going through the motions recently but I got in to this one.

I remember watching him in that Ryder Cup tear up the greens he designed. Good times!
