Nice to see Sussex Downs in the upcoming events. Love that course. Really nice looking and interesting to play. Yup....its a great course. Like this weeks major, I threw in some wrinkles with some of the conditions and course length so it should be interesting to see how this one plays out. |

First off, I like the course. You have to concentrate to pull off the shots...as well it should be. Second, I have to confess that the tempo change has affected me more than I thought. My swing is hit or miss. The approach shots tend to kill me with decent sound set up, but then the slow swing despite consciously guarding against it. It's me, that I know because others in the group seemed to have conquered it to a better degree than I. Qualifier is going...shall we say piss poor. But I tend to put it mostly on me...too stubborn vs piling it up on the game and/or Xbox issues.
Onward, will work on the problems and see where that gets me.

Glad to see some are enjoying it. I will find out tonight whether I will enjoy the mess I created. I was just coming here to say it was a lovely course and a real test. Puts a lot of pressure on tee shots. Like Aradmcc says I left every round feeling scores were there but i didn't quite get them except on round 3. Brilliant fun! |

Brilliant fun! third round was getable, however thats where I had a TinCup moment on hole 9 for a plus 4. |
