I note in an email sent that Beer League players are not eligible to participate in this promo event. Do I have to relinquish my "membership" from BL and then participate to gain a spot on one of the Challenge Circuit tours?

Yes, you need to opt out of BL, play in Q-school and get a tour card, and then you're free to play the Promo events along with your weekly tour rounds.

Thanks for your reply. Might finish the year off in Beer League and then have a crack next season.
Finished my 4 rounds. Think I had my best promo event ever. And scored my 1'st sub 60 in 2K21 in a TGCTours event. 58.
No major issues with my rounds, nice course, lots of fun to play. Survived the 6'th hole in all 4 rounds. Thing is a nail biter.
Hopefully we can get the leader board working. Would like to see where I sit amongst all those who are infinitely better at this game than I am.

I’m regularly a CC-K player. I dropped a -26 after 4 rounds at The Flamingo. I kept waiting to crumble and it just didn’t happen by some miracle.
How do promotions work for special events?
Depends on the scores everybody else posts and the available slots for promotions in the various flights, but based on your score relative to the others, you get slotted into a particular tier. With that number, I would anticipate you moving up a couple tiers.
well, after a really good start round 3 was average and round 4 is a write off. ive gone from confidence that i would make to at least kinetic to rage quiting out of the event
What a difference a day makes, only managed -3 in the second round. If I can play like the first round in the next two I can still post a decent score, we'll see...
Not unhappy with my first two rounds but could have been so much better. I've been playing well this week and currently sitting T2 in CCD, carried that form in to the first round here and was -10 with 3 to play, but then a 3-putt on 16 followed by water on 17 going for it knocked me back a bit. Then a slow start in R2 was made worse by 2 slows in to the water on 6 and a triple. Almost gave it up at that point but I'm glad I didn't. Birdied 9 of the last 12 to post something respectable.
62 and 64 for -14 at half way. Handily placed to move up from CCD but I'll need to play well in the last two. I've dropped 4 shots on 6 over the two rounds, I'm going for the middle of the green in R3! Probably...
Excellent course 👍

Anyone know how many spots are open for platinum and elite or where to find out?
I don't think we'll be getting any estimates this time around but considering that plat is overpopulated already my bet would be one or two, tops. If any at all.

Great course... lot's of ways to play it. Won't punish you too much if you lack length, if you stick to the fairway. A lot of "false fronts and backs" if your approach isn't judged right... and the greens lend themselves to many downhill runaway putts. Bunkers are deep, but easy. Played my rounds in pairs, and scored well on the second 18 each time. Left about 8 shots on the table, including an inexplicable miss from 4 feet on a birdie. The surrounding urban layout is pretty awesome...
