Those Furry Ferrets will get anywhere my friend. Many smaller animals have managed to survive in this environment including the snowcock, ringed-neck pheasant, beavers, and marmots. Also, many migratory birds from all over Asia spend their summers on the many lakes, especially Achit Nuur. Though bears and marmots hibernate in winter, other large mammals are easier to find when they move to lower elevations to find food, and can be tracked in the fresh snow.
