Gonna be another missed cut for me. Solid R1 at -8. R2 different story! Everything going okay until I made a Bogey or two and then scored a snowman! Didn’t know that was even possible with this game. I liked the course well done. My only gripe wasn’t with the course but with the game on how it determines where you drop if you go into the water. Hit one on the water on the long par 4 hole where water was all down the left hand side. It didn’t give me a drop anywhere near where I went in so thought I could hit another club longer. Nope back in water. Had to play a chip shot just to get in the fairway from a few more yards to have a fairway lie to get on the green. Think I finished -3 overall after two rounds. Guess I should practice more.

Unfortunately I played horrible this week, really struggling with my tempo right now and missing WAY too many fairways to have scoring chances, however I really enjoyed playing this course during Masters week. Obviously we all know the situation in the game with Augusta and the various versions of it, but I thought this course (which I had played before anyway from the design competition) was a great selection to give that Augusta feel while not having any problems with ToS violations. I thought it captured the vibe really well and I enjoyed my 36 holes despite not enjoying my swing, LOL.
I hope Rod goes on to win too, that would be pretty cool.

I played one practice round and shot a smooth 79 with a two way tempo miss off the tee so my expectations were high for earning back the red mark I had cleared away last week...but instead it was two steady rounds of 68 and 66 which should be enough to make the cut. If rod81simo keeps up the strong play, I better start practicing for when Revival Club comes up on the docket next month.

Thought I might have a run at making the cut this week after an eagle at 18 in R1 gave me a sturdy -4 and I birdied 2 of the first 3 in R2. Then went bogey into double bogey on #4 and #5 and there went that....pretty hard to score hitting 5/14 fairways, my driver which had been really steady somehow got completely sideways.

My practice rounds were pure doom on this course.I was convinced i'd be in demo mark land.Surprised myself with a -5 after two which will be ok but i still cant make a cut.

I believe I may be the only person capable of exceeding the shot limit on a par4 on R3 then go on to shoot a -14 on R4 in anger. I really love but hate this game at the same time. Great course by the way.

So this is what happens when you have to knock out your rounds on crummy hotel wifi that keeps dropping your PC down below 30 fps. Honestly, I can't explain the pars on 11-12-14 in the final round. My 8' birdie putt lipped out hard on 18 and unfortunately I was unable to miss the 6" tap-in while swinging the stick at a 45* angle. Tough scene all around lol
