Hi guys, It's an exciting time at the moment as the WCoD design is providing the community with great courses to play - well done and good luck to all the competitors. Hooligan's Edge is my latest course. It is a par 72 tree-lined course of about 7300 yards. The trees are a mixture of evergreen and autumnal that provide striking colour. I have been working on strategy since my previous courses, and have assiduously been watching streams and tutorials. (Big thanks to meyo, avacrac, babybull, arielatom and to b101's videos and advice.) I also have tried a couple of templates - the 5th is a reverse-Redan and the 18th is a switchback. Please have a round and let me know what you think.

You are definitely progressing with each publish sir. The last course from you that I remember was the desert course with lighter planting, so it was sort of a return to the Cole Manor style planting on this one. I think you are getting better with your sight lines, and are getting better with your strategy for approach shots. Keep up the good work bro. Looking forward to your next course.

just gave this a play and really enjoyed my round. I loved the bright and vibrant setting. Definite step up on the playability front aswell compared to your last course. If you are looking for a fun and relaxing round definitely give this a play if you haven´t already. smudge22

Strategically placed trees always getting in my way. Nice job on the tee shots here. #8 gets me every time. Course plays tough and I really enjoyed it. Keep up the great work.

I just played a round. Fun course as always Smudge. I thought some of the greens were extra challenging, but perhaps I just need to putt better. The greenside water and rocks were very nice as always (5 and 13 come to mind). But the best part of this course was the way every tee shot looked great and natural -- you can really see the hole.
As a bonus, I got my first albatross on #7.

Sorry it took so long to get round to playing it buddy. Been busy.
This is your best course to date and I really like the mixtures of colours of trees like it's just turning season or something. The course plays fair but a bit tight on occasion. 12 is a bit like Muir Wood from back in the day, lol.
Nice sightlines throughout the course and no blind shots - but you can find yourself a bit blocked out if you've missed on the wrong side like I did on 9 (totally my fault).
I liked hole 3 par 3, don't know what a 'reverse Redan' is tbh, but it was nice. A nice strategic finishing hole where you can shape shots to get an eagle. Liked the par 5 seventh to, kind of Augusta 15 like with a pond in front of the green. Notice in the comments some guy got an albatross!
Other highlights were the driveable par 4 10th and the beautiful 16th.
Nice work smudge. Recommend everyone play this!
Look forward to your next design.

Big thanks to everyone who has had a go so far and to those who have commented. I'll do a Babybull style series of replies - I'm sure he won't mind and doesn't have a copywrite on it.
graemevood - Always enjoy your courses and so it was very good to watch you stream a review of the course. Really helpful and encouraging feedback that will help me fix targets for further improvement on my next course. Thanks, mate. You're a canny lad - (NorthEast English)
Babybull - As always, thanks for your help and encouragement. Also a big fan of your courses - your latest course is off the charts fun and impressive - so it's nice to see your kind words about the Hooligan. Thanks for all you do in helping and encouraging us - what's the word? - 'up and coming' designers!
ChrizZcE - The (UF) Predator himself! Again, thrilled to get a nice comment from you - thanks very much indeed.
rich68 - Thanks, rich, mate. Glad you enjoyed the course and for putting it in your society.
Huntingleopard - I remember you from the 300 club we had on HB. Glad you enjoyed the course and well done (lucky!) on the albatross at 7.
Jbfowey - Thanks for the review, mate. Really grateful, as always, for your support.
meyo - Thanks once again for the help and encouragement you have given me. I'm really chuffed that you like the course and regard this as a significant improvement for me. Just sorry that the course didn't treat you better (on truesim style settings, btw!) and that you have upset the golfing gods so much of late.
Overall, thanks to TGCTours forum for providing a welcoming place for new designers to show their work and get help, encouragement and feedback. Btw, the tutorials/streams of b101, arielatom, jeremymayo and others and invaluable too so big thanks to them for making them.
